Much has changed since I stayed here Nov 2014. It is under new management who it appears are quickly trying to change the face of this previously well functioning guesthouse. It had merged with the guesthouse next door known as Tulpan House. It bewilders me as to why they are not fixing anything that needs work - such as the... More

The hotel is small, so are the rooms, though it offers at low cost all basic facilities with excellent service. The beds are comfortable, clean rooms and bathroom, very warm, internet access. It is located close to the noisy Istiklal street and Taksim square, however it is very quiet. The staff was very very helpful and kind.

We ended up visiting Istanbul during a cold spell, but the room was nice and warm. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and nice. The internet was easy to access and was quite fast. The staff was extremely helpful, in every regard, they called us a taxi to go to the airport for when we left... More

Excellent location, near Istyakil, Taksim square, but not noisy street. Room was nice and clean, good shower, no problems with hot water in shower as in other hotels, good tasty breakfast. Staff was helpful and friendly, thanks so much! Again will stay in this hotel next times.

Hotel is located right in the heart of Taksim, yet it's on a quieter and smaller street, not so much traffic. Taksim's main street Istiklal is literally just around the corner, and walk from the Havatas-airport bus stop to the hotel was about 10min. Rooms are "efficient" in size and walls quite thin, so take earplugs if you sleep light.... More

The little House Hotel is ideally located minutes from Taksim square, and is easy to find very close to the Greek church. Little is the key word as the room was small, as is the Breakfast area which also serves as the reception. Room was clean but bath towels old and worn. Towels changed every 3 days.!!!Basic but fine if... More

When you are in taksim square, mark the statue. From the statue, find the burger king, 20 meters distance. This road is known as istiklal avenue, walk along this road about 150 meter, take 1st left turn. Here is a money change office. Walk along and then take 2nd right turn. And you see your hotel. Room is small like all... More

This place is ok, i usually book it when i have no other choice and all my favorite other hotels nearby are fully booked. rooms are basic, bed is comfy, but it is noisy from the street as the isolation is quite bad. I had a room on the top floor, no lift, only squeaky stairs, the reception man was... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
