My husband and I stayed in the deluxe double which had a ensuite bathroom. We slept very comfortably there, the curtains were awesome, however, would advise couples not to pay for the benefit of an ensuite. The bathroom wasn't as clean as the shared ones, which were cleaned daily, and everything seemed to be falling apart! Having said that, when... More

Cheers Midtown was a great location in the Beyoglu area! Just a short walk to Istikal Caddesi which is one of the most popular and liveliest areas in Istanbul. It's also very easy access to the tram to get you to the Sultanahmet area. If you wanted to walk to the Galata Bridge and cross it to get to the... More

I stayed at Cheers Midtown in a time when I really needed a safe and comfortable place to stay, and this turned out to be beyond my expectations. Besides the clean bathrooms and very friends open rooms (and fairly quiet too!), the manager, Serdar, was my guardian angel. He gave me shoes to wear when my were not proper for... More

First of all the hostel is very well situated (close to all the important going out places) and cheap. Then the very friendly owner makes everything to make you feel happy and comfortable arranging and preparing everything in order to make you have the nicest stay possible. It s walking distance by to everything, clean, hot water and comfortable !... More

The place was nice enough considering the price. We stayed in the dorm room and it was nice and clean. Lockers didn't really lock and would be easily broken into (just pull on the door hard enough) so security not great. The manager was super friendly and helpful. He has two little cats which are really cute but if you... More

+: Friendly owner, good location, airco in room -: 1 unisex bathroom (with toilet inside) per floor (14 people), bathroom is dirty (cleaning lady only cleans the floor and not the rest of the bathroom, there is mold in the shower), shower has only icecold or extremely hot water, no public space (only the rooms), no reception: the manager hangs... We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed out stay. The rooms are basic but good value for money, it is close to the metro or about a 20min walk into the spice bazaar. The owner was very helpful and even let us keep our bags there overnight while we went to Gallipoli. Lots to see around the area aswell,... More
