I was for a couple a days there. Nice, clean and well maintained hotel. Great sea view from the restaurant terrace. The staff was friendly, though their English was far from perfect, but this doesn't cripple communication in a significant way. The breakfast was OK, with the exception of the cucumbers which were mostly dried out, which may be because... More

I had stayed this hotel 1day. The staff of this hotel is very kind. It was my birthday, but birthday present was put by a surprise in those days when I came back to the room. I was impressed by the warm hospitality of ‼ them that a message in Japanese was very nice. TEŞEKKÜR EDERİM, Mr Abdurrohmon!!

Best to take a taxi to find it. Quiet, comfortable but very slightly shabby and things may fall off! Very helpful staff. Would go again. Wifi doesn't work in upper floors. Breakfast with wonderful roof top views.

This hotel was very convenient, about 2 min walk to blue mosque and very close proximity to tourist destinations. The hotel staff AbdualRahman, Cem, Ali to name a few were extremely friendly and made our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel! Sara

This hotel is certainly in a fabulous location, close to all the tourist sites and good for walking around the city and close to the tram, it is easy to find your way back to the hotel - obelisk end of hippodromes turn right and left at Chinese lanterns is the street. The staff are extremely helpful especially Ali, Gem... More

The room we were given a very large room on the third floor, which was very comfortable, and kept immaculate by the cleaning staff. The bath needs some attention because it is showing signs of rust and wear, and it would have been nice to view various English speaking news channels on the tv. However, the staff were excellent, and... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
