Loved our stay here! Perfect location in the heart of the Historic Sultanahmet District. Lovely room, great bar, nice breakfast (included with room rate) at a bargain at that! Will stay here again on any future visits!

We stayed at the Arden Park Hotel for a week in September 2015 and, overall, we think that it is an okay-to-good budget hotel in a fantastic location. We arrived in the late morning, and the hotel was able to accommodate an early check-in for us. Check in was easy but a bit long, as the front desk attendant made... More

I stayed here for 3 days in late November and had no drama's at all. The hotel is in the perfect location, just a 5min walk to Sultanahmet Square, Sophia Hagia, Basilica Cistern, and a 15min walk to the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. ATMs are nearby on the same street, plenty of shops and cafes, and there's a Big... More

We stayed in Arden Park Hotel from 14/09/15 to 19/09/15. During this period we're satisfied with staff. Advantage of this hotel is location. Arden park Hotel is located in one of the beautiful, ancient part of Istanbul. From Arden Park Hotel it takes 5-6 minutes to Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque and etc. Very friendly staff, special thanks to... More

My partner and I only used the spa. We had a Turkish Bath together with scrub, foam, massage and facial. We were really happy to get one together as most places separate male and female. The place was modern, clean and private. We had the area to ourselves. Amazing 2 hour long experience.

This little familyhotel has a fantastic location. Just 5 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. Small hotel with a nice atmosphere. 24 hour reception and the staff is very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights in Istanbul and can recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Arden Park & Spa Hotel is a fine little hotel with free breakfast buffet that's close to most historical sites. I chose it because of its affordable price in the heart of oldtown, but it's even better with the friendly service, great breakfast, and pleasant (if not tiny) rooms. I walked to most places while staying here, and for the... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
