We stayed with my boyfriend for a night at Lisola. The room was immaculate and spotless. The host, Ilke hanim, was so sweet and kind. The view from our room of Istanbul was breathtaking (2nd floor). I recommend this place any couples visiting Heybeliada. They have AC in the rooms , breakfast in the morning and very tasteful decoration.

Unfortunately, I fell for the 9.1 rating from the reviews - though actually, most reviews are great! My guess is that they are all from the summer. This place has no central heating and we are FREEZING! It was also a shock to be told that breakfast STARTED at 10:30 and we have a meeting up the hill at 9:30.... More

We had a lovely time here. Lovely room and breakfast and Arsen is a great host, felt like we were staying with friends. It's just a few minutes walk from the harbour and easy to find. The island is a lovely place to spend a few days.

A wonderful respite from hectic Istanbul. L'isola is comfortable, charming and well decorated. Arsen is welcoming, helpful and accommodating. He gave us some great recommendations for swimming and dining. He also makes an amazing breakfast! We would love to visit again!

When I was looking for a nice place to spend the night on the Princes Islands, I ran across this small guest house on Heybeliada - primarily because it got astonishingly high ratings on another website, actually the best rating on the whole island. So I decided against Büyükada, for Heybeliada. Which was a great decision, because Büyükada was massively... More

Arsen is as charming as his lovely guesthouse with its comfortable well-decorated rooms with dainty terraces overlooking the harbor and hilltop city. Whatever he can do for you he will. I paid more at L'Isola than the spectacular Istambul Hilton in Harbye, the oldest Hilton in Europe with its distinct fifties modernist charm and beds made in heaven. No matter... More

We were wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of Istanbul after 4 hectic days of sightseeing and a long flight. What we discovered was peace and serenity. Lovely quiet evenings and pleasant days on this island. Arsen the congenial owner and host, made us very welcome, gave us heaps of useful information about the history of the island and... More
