From the moment we arrived the hotel staff could not do enough to assist us in settling in, planning excursions and local places to eat. The rooftop terrace happy hour was also great value & a peaceful way to end the day. Food, drinks and service all excellent for both adults and children. If we listened carefully we could hear... If you want to be in the heart of Istanbul and a tram ride away from everything then this is the place you want to choose. The only issue which was pretty major was the mold smell in the room. We had to leave the door/window open to keep the air fresh and its really cold in Feb. Either than... More

I took my mum to turkey for a holiday as my father has passed away recently and they spent the last ten years holidayinjg in Istanbul so they have many great memories in this lovely city. I choose this hotel and I'm so glad I did . There is nothing negative to say at all, apart from my mother and... More

We stayed at this hotel twice within a month - pre and post a 16 day Turkish tour. We arrived early in the morning, tired after an overnight flight, and needless to say couldn't have access to our room. However, the guy on reception was extremely helpful and managed to have a room made ready for us within 2 hours.... More

The location is excellent. Most tourist attractions are within walking distance - Grand Bazaar, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the Topkapi Palace. The tram station is 2 minutes away. Hotel is extremely clean and staff were always ready to assist with any enquiries. They all went out of their way to make our stay in Istanbul a pleasurable experience. Would... More

Having travelled to Istanbul several times previously, I would recommend The Innova Hotel. It provides good value for money and is not more than few details and tweaks away from being a 5 star hotel. The location is good but not great - as there are better located hotels within Innova's quality and price bracket but a very good option... More

The Hotel is extremely close to most tourist attractions, in fact, they are walking distance. You are close to the grand bazar, hagia sophia, blue mosque, and spice bazar. Clean rooms and clean bathrooms. However, the wi-fi was EXTREMELY slow. This served me a problem as a traveler that goes with the flow. I could not book my flights and... More

Very convenient location, rooms clean and our room on two occasions were very good, however our colleagues were not so lucky. Upstairs (rooftop) bar and dining area needs to be cleaned up. Staff pleasant and tried to be helpful but a bit of a lack of English on your part and Turkish on our part problem. Unfortunately we wont stay... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
