Antique House is basic accommodation but it ticks all the boxes for this type of accommodation. Rooms are clean, water is hot and plentiful and breakfast was very good; our introduction to Turkish hotel breakfasts and one of the best we encountered in our 3 weeks in Turkey. What made our stay notable was the friendliness of the staff member... More

Our two stays at Antique House were enjoyable for many reasons. While the hotel is very very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, The Grand Bazaar and all of the sights of Sultanahmet, the old part of Istanbul, it is located in a quiet little street, away from the noisy night time areas. The rooms are clean and... More

Just back from a visit to Istanbul and the third time in the Antique House Hotel. It's clean and comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent, with welcome daily variations. The rooms aren't large, but that's normal for Istanbul buildings in the old city. Apart from manager Mustafa's friendliness, the real strength of this hotel is that it's just out of... More

Very nice location, clean and in a walking distance of almost everything you need when in Istambul. I was there in 2008, and probably will be there again when I come back to Istambul once more. The staff is also very sympathetic and helpful, could also help with info about tours and the city.

The hotel staff is great, extremely friendly and very helpful. The room was cleaned every day. It's a 5 min walk to a tram station, and the location is superb. Very homey atmosphere, all in all a great stay. Totally worth the money.

The location is great. You may struggle to find it initially as I did, but ask around and people are happy to help with directions. Mustafa and the cook are lovely. Always happy to answer any questions, make you feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I stayed in a room with twin beds. The bed was... More

I stayed in the Antique House in my first visit o Istanbul. It is excellent for the budget. Location is central, close walk to main sites. The best thing of all was service. Mustafa is a great host. Always willing to help with information, advise, bookings, coffee... I felt very welcome. The lady who worked at breakfast, whose name I... More
