My mum and I had stayed at the Sultan Tughra Hotel earlier this month, although I got a chance to spend just one night there, I have run short of words to describe what a wonderful experience it was for me. Certainly one i would remember all my life. I'd best say the staff (Arzoo, Merth, Aziza) majorly contributed to... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in July with my wife. The hotel is located amongst delapidated buildings in a backstreet - a diamond in the rough - but is in very close proximity to the main streets of Sultanahmet (the old town), including the Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque, markets, one of the main streets, and plenty of restaurants - all... I can't recommend this hotel enough, the Traditional Turkish decor is lovely, food is good, staff are great. Our room was upgraded after the first night, which was obviously a bonus!! The location was perfect, 100 yards north of the seafront & about 200 yards south of where everything starts (shops, Blue mosque etc) its close enough for accessibility but... More

My family and I (all adults) stayed for a week at the Sultan Tughra. The hotel was stunning, and just made you feel like a king or queen. We booked two deluxe rooms with jacuzzis- amazing. We we lucky enough to get upgraded to the suit for the final few nights of the stay which we really appreciated. They staff... More

We stayed at the hotel in June with 2 friends and were disappointed to discover how small the rooms were. Our friends arrived 2 days before us and managed to get a larger room which was downstairs. It was very hot in the room and the only window was at ceiling height but, they did have a chair. We had... More

We Spent 4 Nights in the Hotel ( Me and My Soul mate) to enjoy our Quarterly Honeymoon vacation. The Location is very good and near the old city center and all the historic attractions for someone who wants to enjoy history and the real Istanbul flavor. My Experience with the hotel started with an amazing upgrade to a bigger... More

We stayed in this hotel in early July for 2 nights. At first look from the outside it looks a bit small and old but once inside, you can definitely see why it's rated so high in tripadvisor. The manager Mert can't stop pleasing you, and we got a free upgrade to 3 person deluxe room. Location wise is walking... More

My husband and I recently chose this hotel for a quick trip to Istanbul and it definitely did not disappoint. It's location in the old city - a quick walk away from the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar and several restaurants - was picturesque and very convenient. I must also emphasize that the service was excellent: Our... More

I stayed at Sultan Tughra for a week during summer vacation. I wanted a spot in the heart of Istanbul where I easily could walk to the major attractions, and was very happy with my choice. Istanbul of course is a very big city, but if you want to spend time in the old part of town, this hotel has... More
