We booked a 4 nights stay at Yakamoz. We arrived quite late to Istanbul so I called them to ask for directions. There was a guy waiting for us where we asked the Taxi to take us, then we walked few meters to Yakamoz. When you enter you take few stairs down where the small lobby is. Our room was... More

In general, this was a good hostel as far as hostels go. The 8-bed female room was good enough, and they even provided locks for the lockers. (The locker was only large enough for my backpack, not my suitcase.) The bathroom was a bit dirty and out of toilet paper. The price was fine and location was good (although I... More

All staff are warm and kind. Very good manner of service. Location is the best. 5~10 minute walk to Aya Sofia and Blue Mosque. You can see sufi dance performance at the nearest restaurant in Arastar Bazzar at night.

We stay here for 4 nights, and like the place, the staff and the position of the hotel, at 5 minutes walking from Blue Mosque. Rooms are nice and clean, breakfast good and they have a few free parking places in front of the guesthouse.

I visited Istanbul from 6-11 April, 2014, with my wife and baby. City is incredible but a bit expensive compared to other destinations. I stayed in Yakamoz guest house just at the footsteps of Blue mosque and all other attractions are 10 minutes walk away. Its just 5 minutes walk to SULTANAHMET tram stop (T-1). Its basic, simple and nice... More

That did not matter so much due we injoied seeing city and just dropped to horel just for sleep. Location is excellent... More

The room with rearview is superb for the price; extra thanks to the owner, Mustafa for the friendly and helpful attitude. We had a nice one night stay and the breakfast is quite fresh and enough as included in the price

This being my first trip to Istanbul, and not knowing any Turkish, I was a little nervous about staying in a tiny little hostel. Completely unfounded nervousness. This was an amazing hostel that deserves attention. STAFF: 24-hour reception which is great, but that's only a minor perk compared to the rest of the staff. The staff was incredible! They were...
