Rooms are spacious, very clean and equiped with all needed amneties. The staff is extreeeeemly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good with varieties. Prices are very... More

Visited the hotel for a couple of days. The neighborhood was very noisy even after midnight. There was also a building construction very close. Very close to Taksim square but you have to walk a very steep uphill for 150 meters and there you are. Apart from the receptionist it was impossible to discuss with the rest of the staff... More

We had a really good time both in Istanbul and in the hotel. The hotel based in center of Istanbul and quiet close to everywhere (blue mosque, Galata tower). Taksim square is on the top of the hotel. You can find many kind of different restaurants and bars. The food was nice and atmosphere of hotel was kind of lovely.... More

Booked 11 rooms 6 months in advance. Money taken 4600euros 3 days prior to arrival. Only 8 rooms on arrival. Sent next door to a filthy slum with an operating brothel with the ladies and the sleazy customers in the very small corridors Management was in denial until I mentioned the charges indicated they had our rooms available was deducted... The suite was clean, cozy and well designed. My family of 4 booked a suite but they ended up giving us an extra complimentary suite which meant we had 2 suites to ourselves! Couldnt have asked for a better suite. Friendly staffs too. And within walking distance to taksim sq. I highly recomend this hotel if you're planning a long... More

The Marions Suite was overall a nice small hotel and the staff was very friendly. However, all of the presentation texts were not accurate (e.g. no hot tubs, microwaves etc in all of the rooms) in booking web pages. More importantly, there was a disco next door which was very loud from late evening until early morning hours and disturbed... More

As a journalist I regularly visit Turkey on business or pleasure. I booked this hotel because it was close to Taksim Square which is the shopping hub of Istanbul. Unfortunately there is no shuttle service offered by the hotel but I managed to take a Havatas bus from the airport which costs 4lira and the walked to my hotel. The... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
