Nice location which is near to istiklal Caddesi. Reception was really friendly and helpful, nice graffiti in the room. It is clean and comfortable. However, the room did not have good sound insulation, so the neighboring room was not very happy when they heard us talked(even though we didn't talk loudly). They bang on the wall for a few times.... More

Suzak Residence (now named also DROOM HOTEL) welcomed us warmly. First we decided to stay one day, but then prolonged for 2 more. The keyword for this place is Attitude. Owners of the place are 2 young managers who were always responsive and ready to help. The rooms are fresh and renovated. If you won't be bothered by sounds of... More

Best location ever in Taksim to stay. Great renovated hotel with very nice staff. The hotel has free wifi without any problem. There is a ground cafe and a terrace which you can relax and spend your leisure time.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
