We spent 4 days at the Hotel between Christmas and New Year, choosing it over the more touristy areas on the other side of Galata bridge. The hotel is amazing value for money, with the room being more like an apartment than a hotel room; consequently, you feel like you are 'living' here rather than merely 'staying' here. The room... Every little detail in Karakoy Rooms is very comfortable, that's how you feel at home. First of all, the contemporary tone and style of the room with a charming exclusive view of the Bosphorus has set it apart from others. Second, the location is easy for you to explore every corner of the city with walking distance to Galata Bridge... More

When the taxi stopped and the driver said "this is it" I was taken aback. "Really", I thought, "oops, big mistake". Then I walked into a small unattractive front desk and was almost sure we'd be changing hotels soon but then we went into the room and realized we wouldn't. Exquisite taste, great space, nicely furnished and wonderful overall made... More

We loved our stay in Karakoy Rooms. The location was perfect for walking to Old Town and the Galata District. We stayed in a deluxe room that had a sea view (although it was frequently blocked by the giant cruise ships). The room had a beautiful style as pictured int he photographs and was quite spacious. The restaurant below is... More

OK, so this is the 15th time I have reposted my review, because apparently the manager of this hotel doesn't appreciate bad critiques…So maybe this will give you an idea of whats in store if you stay here. Pros: Great location, excellent rooms, and clean. Cons: The hotel restaurant. Im sorry, but its true. As I was a hotel guest... More

Stayed here for two nights and the hotel is in a nice quiet location. Choices in getting around are walking ( which we did and enjoyed), tram car or cabs. Walking allowed us to soak in the atmosphere of istanbul. It is about a half an hour walk to the grand bazaar, but there was so much to see and... More

Celebrated my 50th with a few friends for a week in Istanbul this summer and stayed at the Karakoy Rooms. We all loved everything about this hotel. It is small, only 9 or 10 rooms, but the rooms are super large, modern and quite stylish. Our room was a Deluxe Room on a high floor, with a beautiful view of... More

Stylish design of the room will catch you immediately. It is almost a large studio apartment where we felt like home. You will understand that the hotel management thought all details for your comfort during the accommodation. Its central location makes it even more attractive where you can walk around the old town of Istanbul city.

Our room, or suite really, was spacious, very clean and well appointed with a spectacular view of the Bosphorus, skyline and visiting cruise liners. Room service was thorough and unobtrusive. Liked the chocolates each day! Good position for easy access to transport and tourist venues. Good restaurants nearby...including restaurant in the same building where we had a very pleasant Turkish... More

One of the nicest boutique hotels i stayed in recently, the room was very modern and spacious, the whole design is minimal, simple and positive. the location when you 1st arrive, especially if it your 1st time in Istanbul, is a bit confusing, but once you get a hang of the area you'll realise that everything is next to you....
