The service and friendlyness of the staff (... and I assume it was the owner) was perfect and very very friendly. In the ground floor they habe their own restaurant as well with a excellent service and tasty food. The location of the hotelbis close to the Galata bridge 4min walk.

We were booked to stay here for 4 nights, including New Year's Eve, but due to a massive snowstorm that hit Istanbul our flight was cancelled and we missed our first night. The hotel held our room reservation without any problem. We stayed in room 612, a Deluxe Sea View Room, which is on the corner of the building and... More

Spent one night stop over in Istanbul. The hotel is very clean, they even provide amazing gf breakfast. Very nice stay. The hotel is located near by an amazing Turkish woman/man The Kilic Ali Pasha Hammam, 5 min walking distance. Do not miss it.

There are boutique hotels and there is the Karakoy Rooms. The only 12 rooms of this small boutique hotel come in different size and shapes, and they look much more like a small apartment than a hotel room! Few of them have a wonderful view over the Bosphorus and I could not recommend them more, especially if on the fourth floor or higher. The area is superb; Karakoy was once... More

Spent 4 nights here. This boutique hotel is very conveniently located for public transport, It is within short walking distance of the tramline, funicular and ferries. The well thought out buffet breakfast provided a good start to our day. Room was well appointed and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

We stayed in Karakoy Rooms for four nights in the off season. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. They found us an awesome guide to show us the Old City. The breakfast included with the rates is at the restaurant located on the bottom floor and is the best we had in Turkey. Our room was spacious and comfortable and... More

Seriously this is a such a beautiful property, and with only 14 rooms, it is certainly very boutique. We stayed in a studio, which I couldn't recommend highly enough, with 50sqm of area, it's more like an apartment than a hotel room. The only drawback was the bathroom was a little pokey. Ten points to housekeeping, they were thoroughly exceptional... More

Staying in Karakoy

Neighborhood Profile
Karakoy
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at the mouth of the Golden Horn. Perhaps the city’s most historically significant area, it’s currently one of the most happening parts of town as well. Here street vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks of the Horn where the views of major attractions across the water rival Karakoy’s own key attractions, such as the iconic 14th century Galata Tower and the Museum of Modern Art. A major hub for local and international waterborne traffic, Istanbul’s commercial and maritime heritage remains as relevant and evident as ever in Karakoy. Commuter ferries mingle with luxury cruise liners at its busy port, ensuring a continuously cosmopolitan flow of people..
