Stayed 3 nights on our first visit to Istanbul. The service was impeccable and the room was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is in a fantastic little area which has great restaurants and cafes (especially the hotels own restaurant). Karakoy seems to be the most central of all locations with easy walking access to Galata and the old town. Would recommend... More

We stayed at Karakoy Rooms for 7 nights and highly recommend this small hotel (9 rooms). It is in a great location, right next to the ferries to the Asian side, a couple of minutes to the tram that crosses the Galata Bridge and a short walk to the Tunel tram that goes up the hill to Galata Tower and... I'm so happy we stayed at Karaköy Rooms! The building and rooms are spacious, beautiful, and newly renovated. By walking, you can reach the waterfront (and two of the best baklava bakeries in the city) in 2 minutes, the T1 line in 5, many lovely cafés and the Kılıç Ali Paşa Mosque (and hamam) in 6, and the old city... I had him overnight layover in Istanbul with my girlfriend in March. We stayed here and I booked it in advance as a surprise for her. The room did not disappoint. The only issue we ran into was that it was a bit off the beaten path and the taxi driver had a difficult time locating it. Aside from that... More

Fantastic location on the north side of the Galata bridge. Walking access to the monuments and markets of Sultananhmet. Lovely large room with Bosphorus view. Superb service from owner Aylin and her young team of Yazuv,Tuba and Mesut. Great breakfast and underneath one of Istanbul's top (modern) restaurants Karakoy Lotantasi (you'll need to reserve) by the same owners. I recommend... More

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying here for a week. The hotel staff is extremely helpful suggesting restaurants/activities, making reservations, etc. The breakfast (included) is top notch and a perfect way to start each day. We stayed in a superior double (smallest of the rooms), but thought the room huge. The decorations / design of the rooms are superb... More

We spent 4 days at the Hotel between Christmas and New Year, choosing it over the more touristy areas on the other side of Galata bridge. The hotel is amazing value for money, with the room being more like an apartment than a hotel room; consequently, you feel like you are 'living' here rather than merely 'staying' here. The room... Every little detail in Karakoy Rooms is very comfortable, that's how you feel at home. First of all, the contemporary tone and style of the room with a charming exclusive view of the Bosphorus has set it apart from others. Second, the location is easy for you to explore every corner of the city with walking distance to Galata Bridge... More

When the taxi stopped and the driver said "this is it" I was taken aback. "Really", I thought, "oops, big mistake". Then I walked into a small unattractive front desk and was almost sure we'd be changing hotels soon but then we went into the room and realized we wouldn't. Exquisite taste, great space, nicely furnished and wonderful overall made... More

We loved our stay in Karakoy Rooms. The location was perfect for walking to Old Town and the Galata District. We stayed in a deluxe room that had a sea view (although it was frequently blocked by the giant cruise ships). The room had a beautiful style as pictured int he photographs and was quite spacious. The restaurant below is... More
