This may seem a bit odd - to give a great review for a place I didn't stay.....but that is what I want to do. I arrived in Instanbul with this as my destination, only to be turned round at the airport. I was beside myself and desperate to negotiate a cancellation. The guy here was so good. He tolerated... We were happy with the apartment (and the view to the Topkapi Palace and Golden Horn). It was clean, spacious and had everything one needs. The towels and sheets were also clean and changed daily. Toiletries and slippers are also provided, which is also a plus. We didn't buy the breakfast (7€ per person per day), and did not regret... More

We stayed here for a week, a family of 5.We were comfortable in the space and found the location perfect, close to the museum of modern art and a tram ride away from the historical area.It was noisy, but we live in a rural area and find nights in cities loud, probably not a problem for urban people. The attentive and... Comfortable room, owners and staff quite friendly and always available when you need them. The area is great, my favourite in Istanbul. Explore the small streets between the hotel and taxim-istiklal, you can find great places for coffee and drink.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had the apartment on the 4th flour, wich was very spacious! Also, we had a great view on the bosphorus and the city. The apartment had everything you need (living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom...), was clean and they made our beds and provided clean towels every day. We decided to not... More

stayed here in first week of august 2013 with 3 children (7, 14 , 15) rooms are large enough. Everything you need, and more, in an apartment was available. The apartment had the same equipment as in 5 star hotels. Rooms are very clean, breakfast is typical Turkish with 3 kinds of cheese, olives, tomatoes, jams, honey, bread, eggs and... More

Great location, fantastic view, peaceful atmosphere with nice, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 5 memorable nights in the second floor and enjoyed every moment there. We strongly recommend it to all who want a pleasant place to stay with a reasonable price.

We stayed in the room behind reception - the one without a view! - but it did not bother us in the way some other reviewers implied. It wasn't noisy and the room itself was of a good size and quite neat. The service we received was adequate, but the room was not cleaned during our short stay. The breakfast... More

We stayed at 4th floor apartment for 5 nights with two kids, 3 and 6. Very much impressed with views, room and helpful staff. Ideal for family as you can relax after a busy day out with ample space. Breakfast is fairly standard and you get in the room but can't ask for more with 120 euros a night. This... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
