A quaint little hotel only 10 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazzar. The rooms were small, but clean and well provided for. There was free wifi everywhere in the hotel and in most restaurants in Istanbul! The view from the terrace on the 6th floor was spectacular. The staff were very helpful. A... More

Well run hotel, very clean and conveniently situated in Sultanahmet. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had breakfast at 4-30am before our pickup for the airport. Beautiful terrace on top of hotel with views of The Blue Mosque.

I loved this hotel. It exceeded my expectations. So close to all the top sight seeing areas and many great cafés and restaurants... Although you can't go past the hotel restaurant for a great view and nice food. I was impressed with the overall helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, going above and beyond to give me an early checkin,... More

Location, location, location!!! Forget the map and it's confusing web of roadways surrounding this area. This hotel is located only steps from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi palace, restaurants, and hamams galore! Everything is within walking distance. The hotel is modern, well kept, super friendly staff, and breakfast (included in price - typical for the area: cheese,... More

This is our second trip to the glorious city of Istanbul. If you are a first-time visitor, you should definitely stay in the Old town-Sultanahmet area. What can be better than comfortably sitting in a terrace, staring blankly at the Hagia Sophia and Blue mosque while sipping some Turkish tea and enjoying a great breakfast buffet? The Burckin hotel seems... More

Hotel is good in location. Friendly staff. Good decoration. But the rooms are tiny and the air condition is too cold ( the temperature could hardly be adjusted to our desired level) The breakfast area is at top floor and could have a nice view of the mosques. Breakfast quality is average. I recommend this hotel .

As other reviewers have written one of the best attributes of this Hotel is its central location- especially if you only in Istanbul for 2 or 3 days like we were. Sure rooms are on the small side but from the 4 th floors upwards the views over the Blue Mosque,Aya Sophia and the Bosporus more than make up for... More

We stayed here 3 nights and were overall happy with this hotel. The location is very central to many of Istanbul's major attractions. The rooms are quite small, but adequate. The sheets and pillowcase were dirty when we arrived, but the hotel quickly changed them when we told them. The rooftop breakfast has both very good food and a great... More

This hotel is in a great location; very close to the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, City trams and transportation. We had a great time at this hotel, despite some previous poor reviews. Breakfast was abundant and varied, and IF anything ran out, we asked and it was promptly refilled. True, the rooms are small, but no different to Paris or other major city centres. The location is perfect, the terrace for breakfast a pleasure, reception very helpful, rooms very... More
