My wife and I recently stayed at Peradays for four nights. What makes this operation stand out is the exceptional group of individuals running it. To say that the customer service is first class is to understate the degree to which they aim to make your stay as wonderful as possible. They were especially helpful with our logistics, helping us... More

A first of its kind experience for us. Never have we been treated with so much warmth in a hotel. The team of Murat Bora Murat go out of their way to help you find your bearings in a strange city.Especially Murat has enriched my life with his honesty. Well located hotel and the decor of the room is so... More

This was my fourth visit to Istanbul, and the first time that I had felt "at home". I can say with confidence that the congeniality, kindness, hospitality, and generosity made a tremendous impact on the overall experience. Murat, Bora and Murat, along with Gülten, Tolga, Yigit and Daisy (the amazing cat), made me and my travel companion feel special and... More

My wife and I just stayed at Peradays for eight nights and loved it. The owners (Murat, Bora, and Murat) were welcoming and helpful in every respect, including providing information about travel and sightseeing in Istanbul. Murat even took us to an Istanbul music festival concert along with a friend. When we left, we felt like we were leaving dear... More

We stayed at Peradays for one night on our way through to Rome and wished we had time to stay longer. Murat was very helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The room was well appointed with all that we needed - the bed was good as was the shower. We will definitely stay there again.

Being reasonably well travelled, I can't rate Peradays and it's gracious hosts and staff highly enough. We enjoyed a 3 night stay in June. On our last visit to Istanbul we stayed in the old part of the city but felt like a change this time. We picked Peradays based on the reviews and we weren't disappointed. Murat, Murat &... More

I really want to give a 4.5 stars, but I'll round up. The hotel is located in the new district, which is about a 40-50 minute walk to the main sites--Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, etc. It is clean and the rooms are charming. The building is old, but the owners renovated the inside with a new-industrial feel, which looks great.... More

We stayed here for five days during our honeymoon. Murat and Bora were incredibly warm and helpful during our stay. They were very hospital, offering us lots of tips on where to eat, how to get around, etc. They also helped us book transportation and restaurants when we needed it. But they were also great to just sit down with... More

I like to come back to peradays - it is really a jewel in many different meanings: a kind welcome, the sweet hotelcat, delicious breakfast and nice designed rooms. It was interesting to talk with Murat, Bora and Murat. We enjoyed their charming hospitality and the special and creative design of the rooms and every details. From the Peradays it... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
