This hotel is right in the heart of Istiklal Avenue. Surrounded by bars and clubs, you do not feel lonely or quiet ever. Friday night parties are on till 6 a.m.. The hotel room is very clean, compact and staff is very helpful. They are always ready to assist. Really fit the bill for us....

This hotel is rather modest (small rooms and hard mattresses), but the location can't be beat. Step out the door and the streets are teeming with lively restaurants and bars, a few streets over, a thriving arts district, and onto Tarlabasi Blv for commercial shopping and an easy walk to Galata Tower. Definitely choose the Beyoglu/Taksim area over the Historic... More

To find a nice and affordable hotel at the Beyoglu area it has been until now extremely difficult. The area is busy and plenty of bars and cafeterias, and that should be taken into account, but to me, Beyoglu area is without any doubt the best place to stay in Istanbul to do tourism, to move around the city, and... Defiantly value for money, great central location and a safe feel area. The attitude from the night supervisor when I bought someone back to the hotel was unacceptable and made me pay an extra 70L for having someone back.. Even though when I made the booking, there was no difference if one or two people are staying. Otherwise I liked... More

Lovely clean hotel, great location. A little noisy but having stayed in a few hotels on this road I can say they are all pretty noisy. The staff couldn't do enough for us, very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget.

The hotel is situated in the club and restaurant district of Taksim area of Istanbul. If you are planning to go out during the night and sleep during the day, you might find odda hotel extremely well placed. If you are comfortable sleeping with earplugs, and partying at night, you are going to enjoy your experience. If you are like... More

Odda Hotel is situated in the shopping area. The Hotel is not too far from the Train station and the Taksim Square. My room is clean & nice. Staff are also friendly. I'd recommend this hotel for young travelers. Oh, Breakfast is good & variety too ;-)

Very good service, very good localization. Excelent breakfast. The rooms are small but clean and very complete. The only problem is the earthquake-like music of the clubs during the night. If you want a good night sleep, forget it.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
