We stayed at the Albinas Hotel post cruise for 2 nights. The hotel is in a very good location to explore the sights of the Sultanahmet area on foot. There are lots of great restaurants and rooftop bars in the immediate area, which offer fantastic views of the Blue Mosque and the Sea of Marmaris. The hotel is very cozy... More

Great Hotel and Staff! Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was excellent. Grandiose hotel. I enjoyed my stay. We were very happy w the service and would recommend this place. We were in Turkey for only 3 days but this was by far one of the most satisfying things abt our trip

We chose this hotel because of the reviews on Trip Advisor and because on the map, it looked like it was located in exactly the area we wanted to stay. We were not disappointed. The Albinas Hotel is one of a row of hotels (or rather a neighborhood of hotels); most of them situated in the area that caters to... More

I stayed in this hotel for three nights, and it is situated in a rather quiet street close to the main attractions in Istanbul. My room was spacious, and wifi worked fine. Breakfast buffet was so-so, it was okay but nothing special to be honest. The staff was very nice: I asked about a trip on the Bosporus and was... More

The hotel is a mere 5mins walk from all the major attractions in Sultanahmet. There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. The staff at the hotel are exceptional and will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible especially Cafer at the front desk. The hotel bathrooms are on the... More

Very good location! Enjoyed my stay very much, the suite was comfortable with a nice balcony! The view from the rooftop is excellent! All the staff are very friendly and helpful! Small suggestion would be to have more English channels on TV or maybe the TV needed re-tuning :-) other then that everything was great! Would stay again when I... More

We spent five night at Albinas Hotel with our two little daughters. The hotel is nice and cozy and it's perfectly located within walking distance to the main tourist sights in Sultanahmet. The rooms are very comfortable and perfectly clean, with a great mix of modern and Turkish flavour. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only downside to... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
