We had a short stop over in Istanbul before flying onto Malta. Booked into the Eternity Hotel and couldn't have been happier. It is ideally located to visit all the tourist attractions. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and had a great view. Would recommend staying here if you want to have a handy... More

We stayed at the Eternity Hotel in early July 2015. We had an amazing balcony that looked out over the Marmaris Sea. The hotel was very close to the main attractions and good restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Natalie who went out of her way to help with whatever we needed. Really good value.

I think the hotel is very well placed in Sultanahmet close to the major attractions such as Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia and Basilica Cistern to name a few. Furthermore the staff specially Ayesha was very helpful not only in the hotel support but also guiding in planning my visits (since this was my 1st visit to Istanbul). I... More

The hotel was perfect for my husband and I. Our room was perfect for the two of us, modern, very clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel staff was wonderful, specially Natalie. She was extremely helpful with any questions and concerned prior and during our stay. The breakfast was just what you needed to begin your morning. I have to say... More

I splurged a little on this hotel and it was worth it. The staff was super friendly. The Breakfast buffet was delicious. The room was heavenly. The shower was great. Most importantly, the bed and pillows were sublime. Fully enjoyed my time at Eternity Botique.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of all of the main attractions, so it's very easy to walk to them. It is an upscale boutique hotel with lots of amenities. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, especially the fellow on the night staff who went out of his way to accommodate our needs. There are lots of... More

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cisterns, and the palace. The metro station is fairly close too. If you don't mind walking, you can also see the grand bazaar and the spice bazaar. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. Wifi worked great from the rooms, ground level patio and from... More

We have no hesitation in highly recommending this friendly little hotel. Its location is central to many of the "must see" destinations such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. When you need a break from sight seeing, just wander down the hill (5 mins from Hagia Sophia) to the hotel for food/drink in the very pleasant relaxing restaurant... More

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet and is 3 minutes from the Blue Mosque.Wifi was hit and miss at times and was the only downside to a great stay. Breakfast was great. Lots of variety and service was great. Staff went above and beyond. Great place. Would stay again.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
