A marvelous combination of price, location and staff attitude. Within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants, çay houses and a couple of landmarks you might have already heard about. We look forward to returning soon.

This was my first trip to Istanbul but not I hope my last to this exceptional hotel in the the middle of an amazing city. LOCATION: I arrived a couple of days before the end of Ramadan and the airport was bustling to bursting point. A car with driver was included as part of my reservation and despite the delay... More

6th time to Istanbul and 5th different hotel. This is by far the best I've seen or read about. From the free breakfast with great fresh choices to the almost all afternoon mezze complimentary to the complimentary wine on the rooftop at sunset. Incredible variety and quality and the staff are all superb. There were also a few surprises thrown... More

If I could make a 6 rating I would for this wonderful family run hotel.. Despite the fact that the main entrance is under renovation, all the staff go out of their way to be most welcoming each and every time you enter the hotel. The breakfast caters for all tastes, the afternoon meze offers a taste delights of the... More

I read so many good comments about this hotel that i decided to stay here. But I was really disappointed. For me it is hard to evaluate because it has so many outstanding aspects and other very poor that I decided to separate my points and be more objective with my evaluation. Aspects to evaluate (5) - scale from 0... More

I visited for the second time with my mum, it was her first time. We both agreed it is one on the best hotels we have stayed in in respect of the level of service. The staff really go above and beyond. The rates are already generous with a cash discount and a free taxi ride if you are staying... More

Warmly greeted by all staff members no matter which part of the hotel we were in right from the start of our stay. Yes the lobby is under renovation so do not be put off by the temporary lobby. Our room was beautiful with a view over the Bosphorous. Each day our room was immaculately serviced with a range of... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for an Istanbul trip last week. The room was good, the staff was great! The best thing about this hotel, besides its convenient location, is the rooftop terrace. Relaxing on the roof and watching the Istanbul sunset is amazing!

The hotel has an ideal location for a first time visitor to Istanbul that is looking to hit all the tourist spots around Sutanahmet. Easy walk to everything and right on the T1 street car line. The staff couldn't be more helpful and eager to please. The rooms are rather spacious. Ours did not have a view but was very... More

My family recently stayed at this wonderful hotel. Based on reviews from Trip Advisor we had narrowed our choices of hotels down to the Neorion Hotel and the Four Seasons for our stay in Istanbul. A friend here in the US who is from Istanbul said if you want to experience true Turkish hospitality then definitely stay at the Neorion... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
