First of all, payment, we paid cash, but they took money from the card at time of booking, promised to credit to account in 24 hours, not yet done... More

The room was very small, not clean, the curtains kept falling, they tried to fix it multiple times with toilet paper and silicone gel. The reception staff was rude and the breakfast in the morning was poor. I had a few choices of food and drinks, if you want tea then you have to pay extra. The room wifi wasn't... More

The only thing good about this hotel was the location. Everything else was very poor. I hope no body else falls into this 4Star trap (2 Star rating would be too much for this place). To mention a few things about this hotel. 1- smelly toilet and room 2- no privacy in the shower or bathroom 3- no tissues in... More

We stayed at the Taksim Life Hotel for 2 nights. It was close to public transport and the night life. Comfortable room, traditional and taste breakfast with nice and friendly staff. Good stay for a budget price.

Let me precise that I booked this hotel as a last minute and because I was in hurry I made the mistake to prepay... When we arrived at the hotel, I visited 4 rooms, all of them with broken furnitures, disgusting carpet, moulds behind the curtains, and in the bathrooms... Honestly, after visiting those 4 rooms I wanted to cancel... More

This Hotel is a buget Hotel and they don't know what a vaccum cleaner is ! asked a couple of times & it went through both ears. Other than that it was close to everything if you like walking up & down hills. We had a great time - plenty of laughs. The locals are great Very friendly & we... More

Nice Boutique hotel, very nice and helpful staff, they provided us with all maps and info we needed. Clean place, simple but nice and clean healthy food. Free in-room Wi-Fi , spa, sauna, Jacuzzi & Turkish bath all for free, they also offer a great privacy option by closing the area of spa for you at all for full hour... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
