My husband and I spent 3 nights at the Momento Hotel mid September. We found staff extremely friendly and helpful, in fact we arrived at 0800 hours after a very long flight. The staff went out of their way to get a room ready for us by 0900 - this was excellent service as check in time is normally any... More

This hotel is location very close to all the attractions in Istanbul. The Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque etc. are very close. I was suppose to be picked up at the airport by the hotels pickup service, but nobody came and after calling them he refused. Then the taxidriver had problems finding the hotel, but finally got there, i showed the... More

We stayed at the Momento Hotel as part of a travel prize we had won. It was a lovely little hotel not too far from the Grand Bazaar. The rooms were very comfy and modern. The breakfast spread was variable and catered to all tastes. As vegetarians, we were adequately catered for. The only problem was that the reception area... More

We stayed at Momento for two nights in month of July 2014. New , clean, good rooms indeed but I was not happy with the idea of own Food or water not allowed in Hotel . Being strict vegetarian we found this term very rude . Staff was also not helpful or friendly. We wanted to visit the oldest Hamam... More

We stayed in Memento for a couple of nights in June 2014 and thought it was a lovely hotel, its new, clean and modern, its based centrally in Istanbul. Although the rooms are small they are cosy and nicely decorated with comfortable beds and fantastic bathrooms. The staff were friendly and the food was good, overall I would go there... More

Cruel Staff Do not book this hotel you need to climb very steep hill to go to the tram. With children it is even difficult. Hotel located in narrow road and if your tour bus is big then they cannot come near the hotel so you need to climb the hill. Same breakfast everyday with lots of cheese stuff. Cannot... More

If location is your main priority this hotel is not for you. The hotel is situated half way down VERY steep hill. At the top of the hill you will find a bustling area of shops, street traders and sadly...beggars and their children; not an uncommon site in the city. But we would advise that you avoid walking down towards... More

10 min walk from the Grand Bazaar, 20 from Blue Mosque/ Hagia Sofiya/ Spice Bazaar, 5 min to a tram station. Rooms can be very very tiny. Service was better than what we experienced in Kusadasi and Pamukkale. Breakfast was average. Okay for couples.

We were not able to get our first choice of the hotel in Istanbul and we were given this as an alternative. We were a little perturbed when we checked in to find the desk manager somewhat rude. However after we communicated this to our travel agent, the situation changed. The room we had was a little small, but the... More
