Just got home from a 3 night stay in June 2015. Pros: The hotel overall was comfortable enough and ideally located just a few minutes away from the major sites in the Old City. The breakfast was just OK, not anything great. Cons: The bathroom was very dirty and full of mildew. Although the halls often smelled of bleach, I... More

I stayed here for 4 nights from Sat 20th of June to Wed the 24th. The hotel is situated about 100yds from The Hippodrome and The Blue Mosque and about 500 yds from Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. Room and bathroom were spotless while we were there and the maid service was excellent. My only disappointment was with the... More

I will start with the good part- 1. My itinerary got changed & with my pre paid option they politely changed the dates. 2. Staff was very helpful 3. Breakfast was very good Bad parts- 1. AC was pathetic. Only mild cooling was there for 2 days & with no fan it was a bit irritating. 2. Good very small... More

My family and I spent a great time in the hotel. The staff is really friendly, the reception was really warm and helpful. I have to mention Aydan and Behrouz for the wonderful treatment we loved every second spent there

The Sarnic Premier is close to the Blue Mosque but that's where any advantage to staying there ends. We arrived from the airport to be met by a young man at the desk who ask for our passports which he photocopied immediately and then proceeded to try and sell on some tours, he then advised us he could book us... My boyfriend and I stayed here last week (June 2-6) and were horrified by the filth in this place. Quick recap: NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL BY ANY DEFINITION!!!!! 1. Carpets in hallway were soiled and full of crumbs from god knows where. 2. Upon check in, I pulled back the sheet because I always check and because the room... More

Hotel Sarnic Premier is added to the nice and charming old Sarnic hotel. It has unecceptable open air connection to breakfest room, or hotel reception. I imagene what would happen if it was raining?! The rooms are ok, we did not have nice view. They are not equiped with enough space for clothing. The staff was not very friendly and... More

We stayed in this hotel last week. The rooms are a good size, but there is virtually no soundproofing - we could hear everything going on next door and downstairs in the dining room. The TV didn't work - not that we wanted to watch anything, but it would have been nice to be able to if we'd wanted to.... More

We were at the Sarnic Premier Hotel for 4 days in March and we were not disappointed. Everyone was friendly & helpful, from the manager and everyone at the front desk, to the people working in the breakfast dining room, the maid service and the drivers to picked us up & returned us to the airport in the middle of... Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
