We were really impressed with this facility. Not only were we greeted promptly and checked in immediately, but our room was a very pleasant surprise. Having traveled to a lot of locations in Europe, Asia and South America in the past, we have experienced a variety of accommodations, some of which are not always the best. Our top floor balcony... The location is great, the breakfast is wonderful, and the staff is friendly. For this hotel though, you will want to request something on a higher floor. You're within walking distance of the best parts of Istanbul and very close to great restaurants. The rooms are small but comfortable. The best description for the hotel as a whole though would... We were delighted with then hotel, it is small, in a very quiet area of Sultanahment area. We were within minutes walking time of Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Cisterns and tram line. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room had a big balcony where we could sit and relax. Breakfast in the morning was very good. There were many... More

Our third stay here in twelve months has surpassed our previous experiences. This hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms are four/five star quality. Comfortable, clean, amenities, etc make this a place to relax in. We had a terrace room with lounges overlooking the bustling waterways of Istanbul. Location is fabulous, being within a five minute walk to the blue... More

Very nice boutique hotel in the old Sultanahmet area. You simply could not beat the location. I have walking difficulties and the hotel is within a very short walk of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia, the Cisterns, and the Arasta bazaar. Our room also had a lovely balcony. And the buffet breakfast in the morning was another treat. I... More

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. We were so pleased with the service upon arrival. The front desk was extremely helpful in getting us set up in our room and with any questions on the area. Our room was gorgeous as well. Had an amazing wrap around balcony that had views of the Hagia Sophia and Blue... More

This hotel is very centrally located just a few minutes walk from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. It is very clean and very well kept. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and offered a lot of options in a very comfortable dining room. The staff were always very helpful. Don't miss the Arasta Bazaar which... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
