We had a very pleasant stay at Aparts Sultanahmet for 2 weeks in March 2015. The property is in an excellent location, within walking distance to quite a few of the attractions in Sultanahmet. The apartment is cleaned every day and has a washing machine which allowed us to travel more lightly than normal. It was a little difficult to... More

I am posting a review as I believe the reservation process is part of the hotel experience. Sadly despite a confirmed reservation for two rooms, only one room could be honoured. This may have been a good place to stay but without a robust reservation system I would not recommend.

We reserved two rooms at this hotel 3 months before our holiday. On the same day we were going to check in, we received an email from the hotel to say that they had made a mistake, and they have now overbooked their hotel. They had said that they would split our bookings, and would rebook one of the rooms... More

After researchng this property, arrived late at night - to be advised that room had plumbing problems & sent to nearby lower quality neighbor( Hotel Adrien which was OK in the end -but may have been worth less than we paid ) - but this property managed by Hotel Adamar- should have upgraded us or put us in their hotel.... Excellent location - on the quiet street, the most of sights are near here. Big rooms. Friendly staff. Rooms are cleaned every day. We had a room at the 4th floor overlooking Aya Sofya. Good value for money. No lift, but it was not a problem for us.

It was my first enjoyable trip to İstanbul and thanks to Serkan for so friendly hospitality and information given to us about Istanbul, It is not enough to explain Istanbul with some words, because of this I recommend you to go and to see this beautiful city, to stay in Aparts Sultanahmet and to meet my new friend Serkan.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
