Several friends and I recently stayed here for 4 nights in two of the Triple Rooms. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the showers nicer than many I have seen at other similar hotels. It was easy to keep the room cool, even during the hot August days. The windows were thick enough to block... More

The staff is very friendly and care about their guests. It is owned by a turkish family that share their home with others. We felt at home! Lovely view from the terrace. We will definitely come again!

I stayed at the Sultanahmet Cesme Hotel for three wonderful nights last week. From Manager Varol's friendly greeting at the inviting reception area to the peaceful and comfortable roof terrace with its 360 degree view over old city mosques and shimmering sea, this was a perfect hotel stay for me. My en-suite room was pristine as were all of the... More

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in this family run hotel at the beginning of our honeymoon. We arrived at this hotel very early in the morning (I think it may have been before 6am). The owner arranged for an airport pickup for us (for about 25 EUR, which in hindsight was expensive as the bus back... More

We went last June, as a family booking 2 room. Both room were clean and spacious, with en suites. Excellent breakfast was provided. Location was great, with friendly staff happy to help and all at a brilliant price!

This hotel is good value for it's money. It is clean, has a great roof terrace with amazing view and is located in the historical city center. The receptionist, who speaks English fluently, is a very nice and helpful man. Vandewalle P.

Traveling as a couple, we stayed for a single night, but the better part of two days in Istanbul. Sultanahmet Cesme was a great experience from booking the reservation to airport transfer out of Turkey. Our incoming flight was early in the morning, but they were kind enough to allow an early check-in and offered breakfast for that day as... More

The Sultanahmet part of Istanbul has a hotel every 10 meters or so, with a restaurant in between. The Sultanahmet Cesme is about 6 blocks from the Blue Mosque and about 10 blocks downhill from the Grand Bazaar. That location is great for walking to many sights, but after two days, one might be ready to escape the heavy tourist... More

I stayed for six days with my wife and 6 yr old daughter. The location was fantastic and room assigned to us was absolutely beautiful, spacious enough to accommodate all three of us. Breakfast was superb (Thanks to two ladies who prepare it on daily basis), and the roof-top terrace experience was just amazing. All the hotel staffs were really... More

If you need a great, centrally located, clean hotel with a beautiful view, Sultanahmet Cesme is a great choice! It was a short walk from the Hippodrome/Blue Mosque/Hagia Sophia but far enough that there wasn't traffic or a lot of cars. It was a clean European-sized room with good amenities. The owner was extremely kind and hospitable. There was breakfast... More
