Staff are super helpful and friendly and the location is unbeatable for Istanbul. However, the 6 bed mixed dorm is dirty and there is a lack of security - no keys for any doors are provided. Bathrooms are small and unclean. The wifi is very slow and doesn't work in the dorms. Breakfast is great. Atmosphere is really good too,... More

I stayed in Istanbul for 4 nights at this wonderful hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they made my stay in Istanbul fun and memorable. Great location close to all the Old Town attractions, with easy access to the train. This hostel was clean, breakfast was superb, and its a great place to meet other travelers from... More

This is the best place in Sultanahmet, very near to Hagia Sofia (great view from the bar window). You can walk to the main tourist point in Istambul from there and there are a lot of options of bars and restaurants around. Great breakfast (loved the apple tea), cutest dog Golden Retriver and the best crew ever!

Cheers Hostel is perfectly located, which is probably why there are lots of other hotels and hostels nearby. The breakfast is fresh and tasty, but the same every day: a buffet of cheese, veggies, olives, fruit, bread, tea or coffee (all good quality). It would be nice to have just one other item that changes, something typically Turkish... The staff is... More

We had an amazing stay at Cheers. Everyone is so friendly and thoughtful! They were always helpful with suggestions on authentic places to eat and to buy unique gifts, as they clearly want everyone to have the best experience in Istanbul. Olga even took us to a carpet store and stayed with us for an hour or so, explaining each... More

We had a double room in a seperate building, which was really quiet, clean and comfi. The blue mosque and plenty of restaurants and the tram are nearby (5 min walk). Hostel has good breakfast and a nice view from the top floor. One thing that might be important to know: If you book a double room, you have to... More

Love love love this hostel! Best hostel we stayed in during our tour through Turkey and Greece! Overall a great social atmosphere. Rooftop bar has a view of Aya Sofia. Cannot beat the location, 2 minute walk to the major sites. They even upgraded us from a dorm to a private room free of charge. Tony was great in engaging... More

We booked a private room ... It feels like an amazing hostel but it lacks some of the things a proper hotel should offer for 60 Euro : no twin bed option, no floor towels, stained walls, and... no proper wall for between the room and the bathroom. It is a sort of giant glass panel, which I guess would... More

This is one of the best hostels ive ever been to. The staffs are friendly and so welcoming. They are so helpful also. Beds are nice. Breakfast was nice. And the bar upstairs was a plus plus. Made my trip to istanbul even nicer.Everything is clean and cosy. Walking distance to everywhere. And i miss their cute dog. :( Super!
