Palazzio Donizetti Hotel and Hotelsclick scammed us by luring us to the hotel and allowing us to stay then telling us on the third night the rate is not agreed and we have to pay double! From Hotelclick's website they say... Why are the prices of HotelsClick lower than the prices shown on the hotel sites? Hotelsclick operates as a... More

I have just spent the last hour listening to the hotel manager literally screaming at me down the phone. Why? Because I booked a room with Hotelsclick and he didn't want to accept the price I'd paid. We were offered a good deal on hotelsclick website on a Saturday afternoon. We arrived at the hotel about an hour after our... More

The hotel is beautiful, room was quite big and so the bathroom; is perfectly located, Galata tower, Tunel and Taksim square are at a walking distance, the breakfast is kept in... More

Where do I start? . VERY RUDE UNMOTIVATED STAFF,.No drawers for clothing, broken shower leaked all over floor. so did friend's room. loud noise from disco across street- blasting music & with people SCREAMING and DRUMS all night for several nights. When friends safe wouldn't open the staff did NOT want to help: they said "the internet is down". We... More

The location is great, you are less than 1 block away from Istiklal, the main shopping and dining thoroughfare and there are lots of great small bars, restaurants and convenience stores in the side streets. The rooms are ok. My room seemed newly renovated and it was small and comfortable, but it smelled like cigarette smoke. The worst part, by... More

I recently stayed at this hotel and was a bit disappointed. The location is quite good as it is near one of the main shopping streets but as a result it was REALLY noisy. We arrived on a Friday and had constant noise in the evenings from Friday through to Monday... There is a main road in front of the... More

This hotel has some real charm, including the old 1900's lift, still functioning. I loved the design and the guest rooms, whilst small they were very homely and had a lot of character! The bathrooms, though small, also felt luxurious with an old school charm. The breakfast restaurant is amazing, and not what you would expect, a modern roof top... More

The noise here is world class. Felt like we were at Party Central and barely survived with ear plugs. Great location and very nice room didn't really compensate. Requests for room changes were greeted with indifference. We were booked by a tour, otherwise I would have changed to another hotel.

This is an absolutely beautiful property with a gorgeous rooftop restaurant. But the hotel has a lot of work: 1. The air conditioning occasionally worked 2. We hot water worked sporadically 3. The internet was unpredictable 4. The shower leaked like no other (this is not my first trip) 5. Items disappeared from the mini bar that I did not... More
