I often travel to Istanbul and stay in the Pera neighborhood. I find it convenient to Taksim, the metro, and an easy taxi ride to the main tourist attractions. Palazzo Donizetti is a beautiful old building. It caught my eye on other trips so I decided to give it a try. The lobby is all marble and leather; comfortable but... More

I and my friend were in this hotel 2weeks ago. The tour mentioned it as 5 star hotel and for sure we excepted a 5 star hotel! but we found it totally different with our imagination. Our room (and most of other peoples rooms )has no window! and by staying at hotel room you can not understand which time of... More

Pte hotel staff were friendly and offered excellent service. I loved the location an the breakfast was not bad at all, however the room was slightly disappointing as I expected mores for booking a deluxe room. I expected bigger and less dark. over all it's was not bad and maybe will stay there if I should go back to Istanbul... More

It is Ok hotel value wise. As i got a good price. Location is Ok but very noisy as there is construction near the hotel. Metro station is within walking distance. Big lovely room. Nice classic style. Average clean. Beautiful view from terrace during the breakfast. Helpful staff. Just adding smile to the help would be great.

We stayed in this not very good 3 star's hotel for a week as booked and paid for, staff at the receptionist are very rude and arrogant and their English is not good enough to communicate with guests and too much, too much noise from back of building all day from builders and kids make noises everywhere all time, breakfast... We had bad experience from the very beginning. I had organized a pick up service from the airport and they left us stranded for more than an hour. We ended up taking a taxi only to discover upon arrival they never sent the driver! First unacceptable event. Then we (three adults) stayed in the creme de la creme of rooms:... More

Easily one of the worst hotels in which I have every stayed. Everything from the cleanliness to the lack of functioning air conditioning to the meeting space to the noise level (despite the busy neighborhood, there are plenty of hotels in this area that manage to block the vast majority of the noise) was a huge disappointment. The difference between... More

Great experience at Palazzo Donizetti. Very nice staff and organised. We spent with my family 9 cool days. The place is Central and well equipped. Don't miss the sauna too! Great terrace for the breakfast.
