This is a wonderful apartment hotel located in the shoe-making district of the old city of Istanbul. The street is quite steep and the hotel is located at the top of series of steps and therefore we had to schlep our bags up to the hotel. The hotel has an elevator and once we had settled in, we were rewarded... More

We absolutely loved our eight nights in the street of cobblers, with Mrs Gul to watch over us. Even carting our 5litre bottles of water, and our groceries up the steep stairs every day was well worth it!! This street has such character, it is so alive and 'real' yet it was very quiet and peaceful. We slept very well... More

I stayed in Blue Mosque apartment. It was absolutely beautiful and spacious. The lady who gave us a key was very kind, she spoke Turkish only, but we could understand what we needed. The area looks scary, it's a poor part of the city center, but I think it's not dangerous. And when we got used to it, we even... More

Spent 4 nights in Panaroma apartment and service and facilities were superb. Right in the middle of shoe district so felt very much a part of the local community as well as being within 10 minutes of main areas of old Istanbul. Very highly recommended as a very relaxing place to stay and the views were breathtaking.

Ascot house is well taken care by the caretaker lady. Location is good and convenient. We stayed in the penthouse with very nice view, we could see the sea and also the Blue Mosque. Down the street, there are supermarket, restaurants and cafe. Walk about 5minutes up the street, many nice restaurants, walk further up, you will reach the Grand... More

We stayed for 5 nights in the Blue Mosque apartment, and had a great time. It is right in the heart of the old city (and may be difficult for taxis to find), and is only 15 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque, with Hagia Sophia and Topkapi just beyond. In the other direction it is 5-10 minutes to a... More

It saddens me to write the following but it seems the only way to get the attention of management and the owner of this property. I have stayed here several times in the past few years and while there were always some small incidents , I overlooked them. On the basis of previous experience I organised a get together for... We are glad to announce this wonderful rooms in the Ascot House - blue mosque. Our stay was wonderful and so were the rooms in the Ascot House. Just 15 minutes far from Blue Mosk, very spacious for 3 people and very clean. It was really quiet : we heard only the lovely seagulls ! Warm welcome. You have possibility to leave your luggage at reception after the check-out.
