It is my wife's first visit to istanbul and she loved. Walking distance to blue mosque, hagia Sofia , topkapi palace. Pretty central to everywhere by walking distance. We are loving it :)Helpful staff with amazing knowledge and service. Fair price to all budgets. Highly recommend.

I came and stayed in this hotel with my parents and aunt for about 2 weeks (15 days) from mid October to beginning of November. The manager Roberto was very helpful in accomodating us to the best of his ability. The hotel was very safe so being on different floors from other family members was no issue at all. Breakfast... The Hotel is quite in the interior of the Old City, however, taxis and other vendors are able to spot it. The surroundings are very European and victorian style houses. (We loved the area) A restaurant, steps away, is open till late in the night. and various shops are available to get munchies. The hotel staff is helpful and two... More

Not sure I know where to start! We arrived one hour late and the room wasn’t ready. We were shown up at 3 pm to find the floor soaked after a quick mop, our shoes were covered in mud, which promptly made the floor filthy again. I had to clean it up with toilet tissue and came across loads of... More

Great location. Great kitchen. Excellent view of the sea nearby. The included breakfast was well done. The personnel that work there are very hospitable people. The service exceeded our expectations. We would come back again to this hotel for sure!

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
