Our group of 11 decided to stay here based on the google reviews and let me tell you the 4.5 rating on google is misleading. We walked into the lobby and it was HOT. Mind you that it was Aug and the outside temp was about 85 F. Two of our rooms had no AC and when we told the... More

Dear Guuest , Thank you for sharing your ideas on tripadvisor. I would like to correct some of your information. First the A.C at the lobby works 24 hours a day.You can easily understand from the reviews on Tripadvisor , we do not have any review about lobby A.C ... If there is something wrong , we always solve this... More

We had a good stay. Rooms were clean and staff accommodating. Noisy though..as it is a damily hotel...you hear the kids running around early. As we had teenagers...maybe would have preferred quiet. But staff was very nice and put us in two rooms. Great location!

My family of 5 stayed at this hotel for 8 nights. Location was excellent, just minutes from Aya Sophia and Blue Mosque. Hotel staff were all nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable for all of us to sleep in. There are lots of restaurants and shops which are walking distance.

+ location super: 3 minutes on foot to Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque + staff very kind and helpful - very noisy: the hotel has five floors with three or four rooms x floor. We were on the fifth and it was very difficult to sleep five on six nights we stayed there, due to guests and kids shouting, slamming... More

We stayed at this hotel for five nights. The deluxe triple room is big enough for a family of three or four. The room is clean and quiet. It is within walking distance to all the major places of interest! It is just five minutes walk to the team station, from there you can get to everywhere! The gentleman at... More

Great hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and a decent size. The breakfast is on the roof terrace which is ideal in the summer heat. It's in an excellent location, literally a five minute walk, if that, from the Aya Sophia/Blue Mosque and the tram station is so close to visit other areas. We... More

Some of the images on the various booking sites give you the impression of a much bigger and more professionally-operated hotel. So I expected a bit more myself than a hole-in-the-wall, but we were happy with our stay and had no complaints. The room was clean, the AC functional, and the breakfast on the roof top was adequate. The view... More

Recently spent 3 nights here with my wife - it's in a great neighbourhood, lots of shops and restaurants, lots of great places to go within walking distance. The breakfasts on the terrace were spectacular with an amazing view out over the city. Unfortunately I left my camera in the room when I was checking out, and the staff could... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
