We stayed here for 2 nights and thought the location, ambience and staff were great. The hotel is beside Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia and a short walk to the Blue Mosque. It is located in a quiet side street but close to a busy street with restaurants etc , so very conveniently placed. Staff were great and could not... More

Been in Istanbul with our two kids. We had always wanted our children to be social and be friends with local people during our trips.Esans Hotel was great choice. The staff is doing best to make you feel like guest in their home. They go out from their standard way to meet our requirements with smiling face. Especially this staff... More

We decided to visit this hotel for our stay in Istanbul based on the other reviews and we certainly were not disappointed. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, the breakfast was amazing for a small hotel, such a variety and quantity. The rooms are all decorated in a different traditional theme, we had the 'lavendar odour'... More

This small hotel in Sultanamet is located just a 5 minutes walk from Hagia Sophia and the entrance of Topkapi Palace. Everything was absolutely clean and the staff were really helpfull to find me the best things to do there, at anytime. Simple but honest breakfest.

We stayed at Esans in May for three nights. We had a flawless stay and the rates were extremely reasonable. The breakfast was delicious: fresh and dried fruits, fresh tomatoes, cucumber, tasty Turkish cheese, crepes, several choices of breads and cereal, preserves, honey, delicious Turkish olives, juice, and best of all--real brewed coffee! Even at the high-end places we stayed... More

The staff at the Esans were extremely friendly and very helpful . The location was perfect for seeing the sights in the centre of Istanbul, most were within walking distance. The room was very clean and comfortable and if we return to Istanbul we would stay there again. All in all, highly recommended.

Esans was a real find. It's perfectly located for the main sites in Sultanhamet and is run by friendly, helpful and obliging staff who try really hard to make sure you have a good time. There is a street full of good value and good quality restaurants just behind the hotel and Aya Sofia is a 5 minute walk away.... More

Once again I am very happy to see internet advantages. We would never find such hidden treasure in Istanbul without it. The staff call the Hotel as Traditional Welcoming House. Unbelievable hospitable,so warm,so helpful staff. My little girl liked the small bird in the lobby a lot. They even gave some gifts to her and she did like them much.... More
