I have stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and find some of complaints completely untrue. The first good point was its close distance to the Aksaray tram station. It is about 5-7 minutes walk and then you can go wherever in Istanbul by public transportation. The location of the hotel is not in a prestigious section of Istanbul so... More

Rooms very small, a grid in the shower you can hear the peoples in the other room as they are in yours. There is 1 club under the hotel and 2 around. If you want to sleep you have to do it before 0:00 and after 6:00 because between you can't.... I've ask to the reception to have a taxi... More

The biggest advantage of the Alhan Hotel is its price. And that would be all. The rooms are extremely small. Double bad is all what can be in the room. You cannot even open your suitcase properly. It quite clean, towels and sheets are changed. However, 2 people in this tiny double room is much to many. The restaurant is... More

they claimed to be a 3 star hotel. it is definitely not. funny that it looks nothing like the pictures on the websites. it was like living in a shoebox and sleeping on a hard bed. you'd better be bringing along earplugs because the discotheque blares out music all night till 7ish am. every single night we were there (we... We booked a mystery hotel in Istanbul and ended up at Alahan. For the price we payed it was an OK hotel. Not very good but it does the trick. Tramway Station is very close which makes it easy to travel from and to Beyoglu and Sultanahmet. Breakfast en room were alright. You do have quite al lot of noise... More

Hotel location is 5 minutes walking distance from the tram to the Old Town and 25 minutes walking distance to the Old Town. ok location, ok hotel, some friendly staff but most hardly speak English. Make sure you are not put in a room in the back outdated part of the hotel and if you have a room in the... More

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, the first night in a room in the back-wing of the hotel. Awful, tiny, old, hot, and unattractive. At night you have disco in your bed, not so pleasant when you want to sleep. Next day we moved to a room on the 2nd floor of their main building: a complete different world.... More

We stayed 4 nights in a 3 persons room, very clean, rather small but more than enough to take a shower and get a good night sleep. After all, you don't go to Istanbul to spend your time in the hotel room! The room got serviced daily, towells changed daily and sheets every 2 days. Don't forget the bahsis for... More
