Small clean rooms and great central location in the city centre. However, with a breakfast that is not going to send Harry Potter home to his mother praising the cuisine the hotel does leave a bit to be desired. For example, there is no elevator to the first floor reception and after this the elevator is tiny. Noise from the... More

We stayed one week at the Samil Hotel. Very, very clean rooms; comfortable beds with crisp white linens. Friendly staff, even cut up a huge plate of fresh fruit for us while we were relaxing in the lounge :) Excellent location for walking to the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar. The staff facilitated nice cruise tours for us and... More

We have booked this hotel via booking com and it was really not easy to find (but we were given the wrong directions), but when we found it - it was perfectly located in the city centre. If you have luggage - they will help you, because the elevator is situated on the second floor (don't know how - but... More

I stayed at this hotel for only one night. The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance from all main attractions in Istanbul. The rooms are small but clean. And it is quiet. The staff is nice and helpful. And it is an excellent value for the location.

very good location, very close to tram station, easy to find it for the people come here the first time. Close to the palace, blue mosque. The room is small, and the bed is very small too, but very clean and quiet.

The hotel was good value for the location compared with other hotels in the area. It was within easy walking distance to Galata bridge (about 10-15 minutes) as well as Ayia Sophia and the Blue Mosque (about 15 minutes). The rooms were smaller than we expected but were clean and serviced daily. The trams were a bit noisy but got... More

This hotel is in a great location and all of the main attractions are within walking distance. For the price, its a great value. The rooms are small, but clean. And the owner is great. I missed the airport shuttle that I had booked for my return flight due to my own error. But he went well out of his... More

The location of the hotel is ideal: the main attractions (Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar etc.) are within walking distance and you have plenty of choice with restaurants around. You'll reach Eminönu harbour in few minutes. The tram line goes just beside the hotel, making it easy to move around in the city (and to reach the airport by... More
