They've told us that this is a 4-stars hotel, but this is truly more like a 2 or 3-stars hotel. The rooms are tiny, literally. There's barely any space between twin beds. The AC is non efficient and it was really hot inside. A couple of good things about it; the excellent location near city center, and the great view... More

First of all, the room was small and it was really difficult to communicate with the staff in English. Moreover, we experimented difficulties with the assignation of the rooms even having booked and paid them. The good things are the location of the hotel, the panoramic restaurant and the courtesy of the staff in spite of the language.

This hotel is one of the worst I,ve been in Istanbul, even though I am travelling there every month. Firstly, rooms are so small that it is impossible to open your luggage, only on the bed you have space to open it. About the staff, boys at reception are nice, but not the girls, which were very unhelpful and didn,t... More

The hotel is good, stayed here quite some times, standard. What makes it recommendable is the location and the price, combined with standard quality. They forgot to clean my room, not a disaster, but probably the organization could be imporved. The renovation realized made it anyhow a bit more modern.

Good Hotel, excellent location, walkable distance from Taksim Square and Istiqlal street. Nice and clean! But the room I had booked from Agoda they gave me the smaller room :( even after complaining to the reception they didn't do anything! I paid extra amount for the bigger room almost double! My colleague got the bigger room in the same price.... More

This was an absolute nightmare. We booked in for three days two nights. Was recommended by the travel agents (got a few things to tell her!) Location was nice but not worth staying too close to the main high street of taksim. The nights were extremely noisy and the double glazed window did not meet let alone close to lock!... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
