Arriving after the 2pm check in time I was asked to wait 15 minutes in the lobby. The 15 minutes turned into ONE and HALF HOURS while they either tried to find my reservation or find a room for me. During this period I overheard others trying to check in and having the same delay, then coming down stairs to... More

The hotel is located near Taksim Square (2 minutes walk) and the famous shopping street Istiklal (3 min walk). The hotel is newly renovated, the furniture is new and modern but poorly fitted. We stayed on the fifth floor in a superior room which was quite large. The room was on the sun and it was very hot because the... More

I stayed in City Center hotel last week. The location is great 3 minutes to Taksim Square, there is no noise of street inside the hotel, though. The most fascinating part of hotel is its resturant where breakfast buffet is served there. You have your breakfast with Awesome, awesome view of the city and the sea. Rooms are small, bed and bathroom... More

I had great experience while I accommodated in hotels in the past in Turkey, this time it was not so good.. The Advantages of the hotel; location and the view from the restaurant The disadvantage: I got tiny room, the view from the window was a storage place, the corridor in the way to the room with dirty with dirt... Location is very good if we do not consider the protests and the bad attitude of police in Taksim in Istanbul, ! The hotel was renovated last winter as they have said... The staff is good and trying to help. They were great! But the owner seems like not to invest a lot to hotel. Air condition was not working... More

The single room was tiny but served the purpose. The location is great ... a short walk to Taksim Square with many good restaurants close by. The wi-fi was a joke ... very unreliable. Communication with the staff was challenging as I speak no Turkish. A couple of the hotel employees did speak excellent English, a few none at all

I booked a single room at this hotel via Bookings.com. The ad did warm that the room was small and it wasn't exaggerating - the room was tiny. I felt like I was in a prison cell rather than a hotel room. The hotel is also very noisy - I wore earplugs each night. The breakfast is very poor and... More

this is a good hotel, with a modest lobby and many fllooors; it is clean and clkeaning ladies try their best, but it seems like they are never using any cleaning products, neither for the bathroom, with mould in the showers'corners, or for the rugs, with many stains....other than that the vew is amazing, the furniture new, the rooms quite... After reading a few reviews, some bad, some good, I decided to book this Hotel for 6 nights; City center Hotel certainly didn't disappoint me. While I understand the views of some of the guests with the critical reviews because it’s true partially, nevertheless however, City Center Hotel comes on top as a hotel that I will frequently stay if...
