A nice break place on the way to Galata Tower. Very good location and easy access to everywhere. It is very good for some snacks or a very good breakfast with strong wi-fi. They have also rooms available. They are very clean and there is 24 hours reception. I'll stay again.

I stayed at one of the small rooms (Pera), It doesnt have a view but It was quiet and neat. They also have big rooms with a street view..They guarantee WiFi only in public area but I was receiving wifi signals in my room which I was very happy about it :). I tried their home made lemonade and pancake... More

Perfect location very calm street between Galata Tower and Galata Dervish Mevlevihane on Galipdede street -music street- friendly staff, very good price, 24 hours reception, free wifi& everything you need. Entrance is a nice cafe&restaurant wth coffee, turkish coffee, herbal tea types and turkish&international cuisine. Very light food.. Falafel wrap and vegetable soups are my favorites..

After clambering up the hill in ferocious heat, this is a very pleasant little place to sit down and have a well earned drink, snack and a rest. Recommened the lemonade - very nice. They have a sign thst proclaims Free WiFi - but it wasn't working when we visited.

I stayed 4 days in Istanbul at Galata life. The place is perfectly located next to Galata tower. The rooms are quite small but very convenient. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this café and the friendliness of the staff. It is a very good choice if you go to Istanbul.

My 10 years old son and I, have stayed in Galata Hotel for a 5 days during the Eid el-Fitr/ Bayram holidays. Hotel location is simply fantastic, walking distance from Galata Tower, Istiklal Street, Museum of Innocence- Orhan Pamuk, Mevlane Galata Lodge Museum, Karakoy station and famous fisherman’s bridge , Taksim …etc. Hotel itself is boutique size but warm, cozy... In May I stayed in the Galata Life Hotel with my family of five, including 3 teenagers. The breakfast was excellent, the staff helpfull, the atmosphere personal and friendly. The location is great. We felt completely at home. Free wifi was important for the kids!

Like the feel of the place. Good place to relax after walking the neighborhood. Cake tasty but a bit dry. Sit in the window if you can and people watch. Ideal location. I enjoyed my latte and sat on the sofa for a good 30min. Nice break overall....

[Restaurant] Orders taken twice. Drinks came 20 minutes, food 30 minutes late. Only 3 guests at basement, not too sure of the terrace though. When prompted on the lateness, we were told that the turkish noodles were unavailable, and the cook went out to purchase them. Food was ok. Managed to finish, due to being too hungry. All in all,... Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
