Pros: good location and reasonable price. Cons: the window of the superior room is against a wall and it may be difficult to get to sleep during the weekend given the noise from the pubs behind. The breakfast is average.

1. Breakfast ridiculously basic and seemingly always the same 2. Superior Double room of the size of a closet and view on a wall (literally) 3. “Small room, Great location!”

We booked a standard room and it was small but nice enough. It smelt a bit damp but not unbearable, our window faced a concrete wall...other than those things it was excellent. The location was great. a few doors down is cafe called Gram and it is amazing!!! Would definitely stay again. The staff were lovely.

We spent one night in Hotel Au Pera, and it was great! Very clean, modern and good location. The bathroom was spectacular which was not always the case during our stay in Turkey! Would recommend especially if you are looking for something near Nevizade and the nightlife there!

“Really nice hotel in the heart of modern Istanbul”

Cool and modern Hotel with very kind English-speaking Staff and nice rooms. The Bathrooms are huge. The Breakfast is not the Waldorf-Astoria-Style but you will have a nice mixture of local food and international breakfast standards.
