First time in Istanbul, this is truly a great hotel. Location is splendid. A few minutes away from tram station (Gulhane stop). Near top tourist attractions. Plenty of local cafes, bars and restaurants. Near shops for souvenirs and gifts. Amazing helpful staff! Nice breakfast buffet. A great stay! During my stay the rooftop cafe was not opened but you still... More

Firstly, the customer service was great. Everyone was extremely helpful. Secondly, the location was walking distance to all the main attractions or a quick cab ride away (cabs are fairly cheap within the city). The breakfast offered was a good way to get your day started, it was small, but satisfying. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The price was 85... More

The rooms are very small but "OK". More time could be invested in cleaning but it is acceptable for the price you' re paying considering other prices. The location is very nice, just about 10 min walk from hagia Sophia and Blue mosque, this is a great advantage. They also offer transfer arrangements and tours in the city if you'... More

We stayed at the hotel from 17/02/14 till 22/02/14. The hotel is pretty nice located in walking distance from main attractions and touristic destinations. Rooms are small is a fact but this is normal for centrally located hotels in Istanbul. I may find spacious rooms only in new hotels located in suburbs or in Taksim. The room and the hotel... More

The hotel was very well located, a very short walk from the tram that takes you to the other side of the bridges (Taksim area), also a short walk from the Spice Bazaar, the touristic Mosques and very good restaurants. The staff was nice, the breakfast was good, with a lot of diversity. The room was our biggest problem.. The... More

I was in Istanbul last week and stayed at Raymond Hotel with a couple of friends. The Hotel was booked through Qatar Airways as part of a Holiday Package, so the cost was not too bad 400 - 500 QAR for 5 Nights. It was a little disappointing that the room was on the smaller side, we needed an extra... More

Enjoyed our recent stay at the Raymond. The rooms are a little on the small side. The breakfast is decent with a reasonable selection of food. The location is excellent, being walking distance to the Trams stations and historical places. Staff were friendly and attentive and the hotel was excellent value for money. Would definately recommend.

The location is great, staff is very friendly, but at our arrival their were some heavy construction work going on the next building. You could hear the drilling in your head. On top of it they were working very late as 12 midnight. We have asked the reception to do something about it, they called the police and so many... More
