Everything was perfect! I loved the location, next to the Blue Mosque. The staff were warm and attentive and very helpful. The hotel is small and has a family feel without being intrusive. Breakfast was great with lots of fresh seasonal fruit, yoghurt, fresh pastries and cheeses. The location was perfect for a first time visitor to Istanbul. All the... More

50 metres from the Blue Mosque. A short walk from Aya Sophia. Offers clean, tastefully appointed rooms with air conditioning, daily room cleaning, spacious bathrooms and a simple but tasty daily breakfast. Additionally, warm and helpful staff. Good value.

The Djem is a small hotel - 6 rooms only - so you really get a very personal level of service. The staff is attentive and friendly, the breakfast is served with a good variety of items. The ambiance is remarkable: the facade is covered in wood giving the hotel a look that is quite similar to the old ottoman-styled... More

Hotel Djem is just perfect, no other word for it. On entering the front door you instantly feel "at home", the hotel is small and the staff are very warm & welcoming. (Thank you Ufuk for coming our to meet our taxi who could not locate the hotel) We had two rooms (5 & 6) which looked out on to... More

This was my second time in Istanbul, my previous hotel in Sultanahmet wasn't that great so I decided to change. I must say the decor was better this time, but that's all. The breakfast was really poor, the bed was small, the duvet was too small for me and my husband, plus when we look under the bed beforw leaving... More

Last week was one of many times I have stayed at Hotel Djem and cannot imagine staying anywhere else. Consistent clean and well kept rooms, wonderful breakfasts, and managers Ufuk and Cefer were magnificent in handling details and making our stay a highlight of being in Istanbul. So conveniently located in this walking city, ideal for business or pleasure, couple... More

We stayed at Hotel Djem for 4 nights with family and friends. I can honestly say that this is probably one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed at. Ufuk and the other staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. The breakfast was adequate and if we wanted anything specific they were happy to... More
