Stayed for 4 nights during July and had a great stay. The hotel is located in a central position, one block from the bustling main street. The rooms were modern and clean, and the rainfall shower particularly nice after a long day of sightseeing. Didn't try the bar, but it has a nice view over parts of the city. The... More

It's a great hotel for the price (hotels.com), just around the corner from Istikal. We got room 506, quiet enough for a good night sleep. No noise from the rooftop party and at the garden side. But the pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable! the room was warm despite of the airconditioning. Rooftop was only opened when the bar was.... More

This clean, hip, modern hotel is ideally situated about a block from Independence Street (Istiklal Caddesi) - near shopping and restaurants. It's also a 20-min walk past Galata Tower to Sultanahmet Square. The room was spacious (for European standards) and is clean and well-furnished. The shower was fantastic with a rain spout and separate hand-held. One regret was not trying... More

Great hotel, super good location, just a block away from Istikal St, yet silent enough for a good night sleep. The rooms are modern, clean and very nice. Breakfast is delicious, especially the natural yogurt with dried fruit and honey! The staff is very helpfull, although we had a little missunderstanding with the reservation, they didn't think twice to give... More

This hotel is in a fantastic location. It's near the hustle & bustle but is tucked away on a quieter street. The rooms & the hotel are all tastefully decorated with modernist furniture & beautiful round tiled shower in the bathroom. The breakfasts were exceptional, fresh fruit, meat, bread, honey comb, delicious yoghurt, home made treats, we barely ate anything... More

Just came back after staying at this hotel for 5 nights. The hotel is just behind the Istiklal avenue which makes it perfectly located if someone is interested in Istanbul's night life & crowd & wants to have a fun time. But if you are not okay with late hour noises from the surrounding streets you should look for other... More

This is a cute little boutique hotel, which is located in the best area. People are amazing. We got a room, which was rather small and we asked them to change it. They were the most accommodating and helped us with every thing. Highly recommended. Aza.

Centrally located, 10min walk to Taksim and all the shopping is literally a street away. Easily accessible by public transport and access to both airports (if you are savvy with public transport that is). Hotel well designed, excellent breakfast and rooftop, though we didnt get to enjoy any of this due to extreme food poisoning. Having said this, my only... More

Lovely hotel, in a very great area. I paid the full amount in advance and had no problems by the time I arrived at the hotel. The room is bright, and super clean. Staff was very helpful. The also have a very nice spa and rooftop.

    Staying in Beyoglu

    Neighborhood Profile
    Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
