This hotel was our choice due to the central location rigth at the historical sites (A.Sofia and Blue Mosce and close to the Bazar. Very nice and service minded people. The hotel is not a totally new super construction in steel and glass (old rugs on the floor and not so many rooms) but the rooms are clean and well... More

Although the location, hotel and staff are good, the management is UNREASONABLY INFLEXIBLE and UNFAIR. Midway through my stay the entire hotel lost running water due to a plumbing problem. After being assured that it would be repaired shortly I decided to tough it out. However, after two days without a shower, limited breakfast options, and a fowl smelling room... More

The staff at the Lausos Hotel is friendly, helpful, and speak English quite well. We had no problems communicating. The price (Nov. 2014) of Euro 105 for a top floor suite is not the lowest price for a room in Istanbul off season, but the view can not be beat at this price. A photo of room 503 shows the... More

For our wedding anniversary we decided to spend a long weekend in Istanbul. We chose to stay in the Dream Suite at the Lausos Hotel. We had a superb visit. The suite has an incredible uninterrupted view stretching from the Blue Mosque to the Hagia Sofia. It was mesmerising. The hotel provides a lovely breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed eating... More

Traveled with two other female cousins and we loved our stay at Lausos Hotel... We were dropped off, hours before check in but the staff were so welcoming and did all they could to make us as comfortable as it were possible for 3 ladies after a 12 hour flight. They offered us hot breakfast and kept asking us if... More

Nothing fancy, but I felt it was a great location with attentive staff. Decent breakfast, clean rooms, nice bathroom. It was a little bit off the main road in Sultanahmet, but only a few minutes walk to Starbucks or the metro stop, and about 10 min or less to the Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia.

This place is in a great location and the breakfast is good. But... The outside verandah now looks nothing like the picture as no pot plant has been watered for months and hence they are all dead. The rooms (we had a so called suite) are on the small side. If you are like us and have two bags you... More

Perfect location, so near to Blue mosque and Ayasofya and lots of great restaurants and roof terraces. The staff are incredibly helpful and stored our bags for a few days while we went on tour. Rooms are small but the other advantages make it worthwhile.

We booked 3 nights at this hotel at the beginning of our trip to Turkey and 2 nights at the end. Let me just say that on both occasions they messed up our reservation (which was done through a hotel booking service... is this the culprit??). However they did their best to accommodate us and upgraded us to the Marmaris... More

The hotel is supremely located in the heart of the Sultanahmet district and its many attractions and boasts an outstanding manager and reception staff. Our room, by choice, had a great view of the vast ship anchorage in the Sea of Marmara and, directly below our window, a small and picturesque mosque. The breakfast selection is impressive and tasty. The... More
