The hotel is supremely located in the heart of the Sultanahmet district and its many attractions and boasts an outstanding manager and reception staff. Our room, by choice, had a great view of the vast ship anchorage in the Sea of Marmara and, directly below our window, a small and picturesque mosque. The breakfast selection is impressive and tasty. The... More

As first time travelers to Istanbul in July 2014, we reviewed Trip Advisor and booked 4 nights online in this hotel. On day 3, they ran out of water and told us it was a city problem (when the Lady Diana hotel across the street had plenty of water). We toughed it out for one night and when there was... More

The hotel is situated within easy walking distance to most of the main attractions. We arrived early for our stay as we had travelled overnight from Ayverlik and the reception staff when to great trouble to settle us into a room of our choice early that morning, which was much appreciated. We did not have a suite but our room... More

The photos on their site are mainly of suites, mine was room for single occupancy and did not have such great views, but otherwise the place is nice and tidy, with friendly staff. The only other thing is very loud doors, so when someone would close a door on your floor you will hear it very very well. I had... More

Loved this hotel, the decor was fantastic, the view one of the best. We booked the Bosphorus suite, which wasn't cheap, but was worth every penny as the view was breath taking. We watched the sun come up over the mosque which was beautiful. There are plenty of restaurants located close by and some of the main beautiful attractions of... More

We ended up getting to know two front desk staff pretty well--Mahmet and Abdullah. They had much info and suggestions and helped us set up things we wanted to do. We sensed a genuine concern on their part that we have a good exposure to Istanbul. But the clincher was when Mahmet helped me find and get to/from a doc-in-the-box... More

13 of us spent 6 nights in this hotel. We just returned back into the UK yesterday but I really wish we stayed for longer. This hotel is simply amazing! The manager and the team accomdated to our needs and would come to our rooms within 1 minute of us needing something such as toilet roll and extra pillows etc.... More

We occupied 2 rooms in this hotel for a total of 3 nights. We spend out first night in Turkey at this hotel and then proceeded to other cities but returned to Istanbul and spent our two final nights here in the same hotel- they so gracefully offered to keep one of our suitcases in their lockup between these times,... Average standard hotel. Rooms were clean but the curtains were only half the size of the windows and couldn't cover up the window areas. In actual fact, one room we had didn't even have a curtain to cover up one of the windows...didn't really know why. TV didn't work and when we returned to the same room five days later,... More

We had booked a four night stay at this hotel. On the 3rd night we found out there was no water in the hotel and as a result we could not shower or flush the toilets. When we inquired about the water the front desk kept on telling us it was a problem in the area and that it should... More
