Our stay the Amira Hotel in July 2014 was wonderful. The staff so friendly and helpful at every turn and never tired of helping navigate a new city. The economy rooms are small but clean and comfy. The roof deck is a special treat at the end of the day with views of the water and the boat coming in... More

Just back from a six night stay at this wonderful hotel. What makes it so very special is the friendly staff who are genuinely caring and always smiling and willing to help with anything you might need.As soon as you arrive you are given a welcome drink and a useful orientation talk. Each day there is a lovey spread at teatime... More

What can we say that has not already been repeated by every reviewer? From the moment we were greeted upon arrival and given complimentary drinks on the rooftop with a personalized introduction to the city we knew this was a special place. Located in the heart of the old city but amazingly quiet, we were within walking distance of everything... More

We booked this hotel with some concern not sure what we were getting into but we left without a single regret! The room was spotless and larger than we expected! The only little problem that I had was that it was in the basement but considering the limited time we spent in it - it was not a deal breaker.... More

We stayed here in late August 2014 after flying from Adelaide to Melbourne, Melbourne to Hong Kong, Hong Kong to Rome, and Rome to Istanbul, in one continuous journey. We were a bit jet lagged when we reached Istanbul but were met by AJ who took us up to the rooftop lounge. Over a soothing glass of bubbles, AJ told... More

Had a wonderful stay. Great location, nice and spotlessly clean, good breakfast and scrumptious afternoon tea - bust most of all fantastic staff who are 100% service minded and friendly. When we arrived, Ufuk sat down with us on the roof top terrace and offered us a glass of wine. He told us a lot about Istanbul and recommended restaurants... More

As an older gay couple, I was not entirely certain how we would be treated at any hotel in Istanbul. Fatih and all the staff made us feel entirely comfortable and welcome during our entire week's stay. Their restaurant and entertainment recommendations were extremely helpful and a private guide named Derya Kutucku arranged by the hotel was incredible. (ask for... More

A fabulous experience staying at this boutique hotel. The staff was helpful and accommodating. They made excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit. Try to avoid the rooms on first floor facing the street due to noise.

This family run hotel was a real find and all the positive reviews are completely justified. On arrival, we were greeted by Karin, who brought us up to the roof terrace to impart some very helpful local information over a complimentary drink. Our room was on the ground floor and was very spacious, contemporary and spotless. The bed was really... More
