Wife and I stayed here during the tulip season in April. We flew into town via IST, and getting to the hotel via the Istanbul Metro system was a breeze. M1 to Zeytinburnu, T1 to Sultanahmet, then the hotel was a 7 minute leisure walk from there. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staffs were amazingly friendly... More

We stayed at Hotal Amira for three nights and couldn't believe how good the service was. When we arrived we were each offered a complimentary drink of our choice and given a very helpful map and loads of information about where to go, what to do and where to eat. The hotel made us dinner reservations (and their recommendations were... More

I can agree that all the Reviews are true. The Service in this Hotel is outstanding. Never did I feel so welcome in a Hotel. Everybody was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice with a good variety and the location was great. I would definitely go back and can recommend this gem to everybody.

I stayed here with 3 friends for a girls trip early April, and have nothing but praise for this hotel. On arrival one of the staff sat us down with tea and turkish delight, and spent half an hour with us advising on local sights, what to avoid, where to pick up cabs and restaurants to visit. Nothing was too... More

Five star hotel? I was suspicious when I looked on a map at its location, and the reality, in our view was: Good Points: Location - very convenient - but there are plenty of other hotels in this area Very friendly and helpful front desk staff Good size superior room Hearing the early morning call to prayers (5:20am in early... We stayed 4 nights during our honeymoon! We booked the romance package. First the transfer from airport to hotel worked perfectly. Arriving at the hotel staff was really friendly, they sat with us for 20 min explaining Istanbul highlights! The bedroom really nice, and the terrace also nice with a great view to marmara sea! We booked everything with them:... More

We stayed three nights at Amira. The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Istanbul. Everyone at the hotel bends backwards for you to be happy. I made a comment to the waiter during breakfast that it was chilly the night before, before I could finish breakfast, there was someone regulating my heater! I asked the front desk about... More

Everyone at hotel Amira was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely seemed to want to make our stay as enjoyable as it could be. We couldn't have asked for better service. Our room was lovely, the breakfast was more than plentiful, and afternoon tea was served everyday. There was free wifi which was a bonus. The roof terrace was a real... More

Although it is sometimes easier to get great service from a small family run hotel, it has never been my experience to have such amazing service from a larger hotel. This hotel is fantastic. The location is superb, it is minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and all of the other sites in the Old City. The room we stayed... More

Take care do not stay in the rooms in the basement. I was given a corner room in in the basement. A great room but compromised view. You have cars parked in front of the window and you cant see anything. Room was very comfortable with good furnishings. Great area to be in. Breakfast was extraordinary. Staff very friendly and...
