Positives; - nice helpful, friendly staff - really close to the hagia, blue mosque, and bazaar, hippodrome, basilica, - really close to Cemberlitas station (but hotel is situated on a slope) - rooms were clean - WiFi connection was good - easy to get to the Ataturk airport if you are using public transport; take the Metro to Zeytinburnu then... We arrived at this Hotel late evening and very tired. The receptionist and porter made us feel immediately welcome and relaxed. They served us a drink and then gave us suggestions as to what we could do during our stay. This hotel is in the heart of the old city. Our room had a beautiful view across the water and location... On our arrival here in mid June we received a very warm welcome and lots of information given, The room was rather small and limited wardrobe space perhaps we had more than average as we were moving on for 10 more days. Good idea may be to ask for view if important to you as we had none overlooking street... More

My husband and I stayed at Art City for a week during the last week of May this year. We got there via taxi as there's no way we would have found it ourselves as it is hidden in a little street in the Sultanahmed area. It's on a steel hill so not recommend for people with walking difficulties. Our... More

We arrived late to the hotel due to a delayed flight. Check-in was smooth and the room was clean and space was enough for our stay. By the way, a king bed means a single bed attached to a queen/double. Yes, there is an annoying space. 1. The location is perfect and close enough to all major attractions in the... More

Having travelled for 12 hours, the final one during rush hour, to get the hotel it was wonderful to get such a warm welcome from Yustyna (equally warm and helpful were Onur and Ali who were on reception at other times) We were seated in comfortable seats and brought cups of coffee while we were checked in. Yustyna gave us... More

We stayed at the Art City Hotel for 4 nights. It has a very good location for exploring the old quarter and the major sites and transport links are all walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They were always at hand to answer our questions or help us plan our days itinerary. We stayed on the third floor... More

We recently stayed at the Art City Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel is located in the Old Quarter of Istanbul with easy access to all the main sites. It is located on a quiet atmospheric street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent value with a comfortable room and full breakfast included.

Very helpful staff, great location, simple buffet breakfast with fruit etc, Easy to get to most of the tourist spots, knowledgeable. Mosque nearby which does wake you up initially( 5am call to prayer) but you get used to that. I would say wherever you stay this will probably be anissue so hard avoided. Overall would definitely recommend as a cheap... More

Stayed in July 2013 with friend. We have chosen this hotel due to positive comments here and of course because of reasonable price. To review shortly, positive pints: location (tram and main sights 5-10 min. away) really helpful staff, nice sea view from some rooms (stayed on the third floor, room with sea view, very convenient, comfortable beds), extremely clean...
