Me and my wife spent 3 nights at Hotel Seraglio, Istanbul. I have never met such a hospitality! My wife had 50th birthday - we will never forget the little surprise hotel arranged... Staff people were always willing to help where ever you needed. Rooms very nice and clean. Breakfast very good and varied! Location only less than five minutes... More

We stayed at Seraglio for 4 nights in June. If you book through their web site, you get one way transport to or from aeroport for free. You can also get a discount by paying in cash. The location is less than 1 minute walk away from the Blue Mosque and other tourist sites. The reception staff (especially Kemal) were... More

We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed our stay. The location is very good, 5 mins walk to the Blue Mosque area, and to the waterfront. We stayed in the room with a hammam. It was spacious and we liked the hammam area. The room has a king size bed and amenities. This was located in the front end... More

We stayed in the Blue Mosque Terrace Suite with 3 people, the room was very spacious, and we didn't feel we were on top of each other. The terrace was a great space and they have updated the furniture so it was even better than the pictures. The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They had... More

We stayed at the Seraglio for 4 nights on our way in and out of Turkey during a recent 2 week trip around the country. We had initially booked a hotel close to the airport for our last night out of Turkey, given we had a very early morning flight. That we cancelled and stayed at the Seraglio in spite... More

The location is PERFECT, situated on a quiet street that is minutes away from the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, metro line and so much more. The staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are modern and clean - we could not have asked for more! Would 100% stay here again on my next trip to Istanbul.

This was our first pit stop on our 2 week time in Turkey and we cannot recommend this hotel enough. We were greeted with tea and a smile after our long journey, which was really nice. We were a bit early but while we waited for our room, we were given tons of really good information about what to see/do... More

It is difficult to add more to the recent and deservedly excellent reviews this property has received. Suffice it to say it'd be my first choice the next time I visit wonderful Istanbul. The welcome, and goodbye, we're so genuinely warm and sincere--thank you Yousef and company--you get a little tug at the heart. Bed, bath, breakfast and beyond were... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
