It is difficult to add more to the recent and deservedly excellent reviews this property has received. Suffice it to say it'd be my first choice the next time I visit wonderful Istanbul. The welcome, and goodbye, we're so genuinely warm and sincere--thank you Yousef and company--you get a little tug at the heart. Bed, bath, breakfast and beyond were... More

I have visited this property since my last review of it a year ago. This property still deserves its high rating - it's in a great location; staff is excellent; rooms well appointed; breakfast nice; afternoon tea on the patio delightful. One thing to be aware of, however, is room choice. Rooms on the ground floor tend to be noisier... More

I spent forever looking for a hotel for our vacation in November 2014. I wanted something well appointed, well located and affordable. Hotel Seraglio was all of the above. It is just a few moments walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi palace, and Arasta Bazaar. (A few moments walk for a very pregnant me, and my toddler, so... More

It started with a warm greeting at the desk and an offer of water, tea or coffee, and it just kept getting better. The location is just steps from all the sights you'll want to visit--Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi, and much more. The room was comfortable and surprisingly roomy. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the bathroom... More

My husband and I stayed at the Seraglio four nights and were pleasantly delighted by the accommodations, the cleanliness, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the proximity to sites of interest to us. Breakfast included and nice variety of foods. Room seemed recently updated, very comfortable with a quaint view. Only 14 rooms in this hotel, very personalized... More

With my wife I spent four really pleasant days in Istanbul staying at the Seraglio Hotel. Although we were very early having left the Royal Caribbean cruise ship as just after 7.00am (A ridiculous time) the staff at the Seraglio made us welcome, gave us tea and offered us breakfast, made our room available for us as soon as they... I rarely am impressed enough to write a review, but I had too for the Seraglio! We stayed for four nights, along with our almost 2 year old toddler. The location was perfect... just 5 minutes walk from Sultenahmet Square and connecting transportation. This was important as we needed to be back at the hotel frequently for toddler naps! The... My wife and I stayed for four nights at the end of May. The booking was easy. Confirmation in English immediate. No problem finding the free pick up service. Polite driver, clean car. Professional welcome at the hotel. Offered cool drink whilst we signed in. Chatted about local sights, etc. very knowledgable and helpful. Good maps and recommendations. We had... More

What a wonderful hotel! Its location is perfect! Very close to the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and smaller shops and restaurants. It's about 30 minutes walking to the spice market and grand bazaar. The staff is SO friendly and helpful and will help find anything and give you their opinions on all the restaurants and cultural nuances. I would stay... More
