The best part of the stay is that it is central and with being easy access to every possible attractions from the stay, getting around is very convenient. The rooms and the entire hotel seemed to be well put together. Almost near to perfection. The rooms are warm, comfortable and absolutely relaxing and fortunately staffs were comfortable with English and... More

This hotel is a gem located 10 minutes walk from The Blue Mosque which is the hub of activity in Istanbul. The rooms were well fitted out, to a high standard and had been obviously refurbished recently. The staff were helpful and polite and the breakfast fresh and tasty. Recommend 100%.

Recently refurbished hotel (April 2015 I believe) and so the hotel was of a nice standard. Rooms are very small and breakfast wasn't anything special, but aside from that it's an excellent hotel (especially if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep at night and leave your luggage during the day). Location is perfect for the main sights and the... More

We stayed 2 nights. They were suppose to pick us up at the airport. After flying in from California we were very tired. We stood around and waited and kept walking past all the signs that were picking up passengers. Finally we went to the information both and they called the hotel for us. Finally we were picked up. When we... More

This is my second review about Harmony Hotel, and I'll try to briefly explain why I changed my mind and had to write it all again. May/2015, I visited Istanbul twice and Harmony Hotel was the place for my first stay - and it was also my "first taste" of Turkey. It was a very nice short stay: good transfer... More

My Father and I had 2 rooms here for a short weekend break in Istanbul. We arrived very late and stressed as our flight was delayed, but the warm welcome relaxed us immediately. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and my little balcony overlooking the street was delightful. I could see the sea as well from there. The hotel is... More

The hotel is in very close proximity to the Sultan Ahmed Masjid (approximately 10 mins walking) which was very convenient as the area is the hub of Istanbul and includes all the major attractions. The customer care during breakfast by the lady called Elif was excellent... friendly conversation and very welcoming. The rooms were literally brand new as the hotel... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
