Bucoleon palace hotel is THE place to stay in Istanbul! It's very good situated, you are just near to all touristic places to see. You get what you pay for. Istanbul is an expensive destination, so if you think you've found a bargain, there's probably a hitch. Thus the 'sea view' room did, indeed, have a sea view (of the Sea of Marmara, not the Bosphorus, which one reviewer seemed to think he was looking at!), but via a railway track, four-lane highway, and... After staying at a horrible place nearby we came upon this little piece of heaven ! Night and day in comparison to what we left . Some rooms look at the Bospherous Super clean , attentive staff and the rooms were bright ,airy and spacious with large marbled bathrooms . On the top floor is the breakfast room with panoramic... One of my most memorable cultural experiences abroad. The vacation for a week was made quite exciting because of the level of home-like comfort and services. Excellent breakfast readied us for great days of fun and visits to iconic monuments of Istanbul just minutes away. We can never forget the helpful staff, particularly Mehmet and Raheema who made sure that... More

Very nice hotel, just several minutes to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Pictures correspond reality. Wonderfull seaview from terrace. Also really easy access by the car. If there is some problem (even if not :), manager is ready to sort it out immediately. Anyway the way to serve the customers is the one thing I would highlight the most.

We had a great four-night stay at the Bucoleon Palace in mid-June, despite the hotel having a few kinks that still need to be worked out. First, the good: *Location: the hotel is south and slightly east of the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque in Sultanahment. There are many hotels and restaurants nearby and it is undeniably "touristy," but it... More

Stayed here for a total of 4 nights and highly recommend this hotel. Firstly, the staff are incredibly helpful. My bags were carried to my room on arrival, all my questions (and there were many!) were answered knowledgeably and they even helped me book a fantastic hotel for my subsequent travel to Bodrum. The room itself was decent sized -... More

My wife and I stayed at Bucoleon Palace Hotel for three days in mid-April 2014. I had planned to stay at the near-by Cheers Lighthouse Hostel (which is also an excellent choice - I stayed there a few months before) but was a bit late getting around to reserving and it was already fully booked. Yavuz at Cheers suggested I... More
