Situated in the old city this holt looked shabby and uninviting. The receptionist was very helpful and on arrival told us we would be staying in her friends hotel next door which was better. Part of the deal included transfer to the main bus station but this did not happen and we had to arrange alternative transport. I would not... More

This is a very conveniently located hotel just inside the gate of the old city with a friendly helpful staff, clean rooms and easy access to the incredible historic sites in the Sultanahmet area. It is just inside the old city gate so the street does have a fair amount of traffic at certain times of day but we felt... More

We stayed there for one night and the hotel was good. It was very close to the Blue mosque and Sultanahmet tram station. But the problem is that the way from the hotel to the city is very steep uphill. The room was also clean. The hotel didn't have elevator. But the breakfast was not good at all.

I did stay, there is like a palace. Stuff are helpfully, clean and fastest. Room's air is too fresh. I like that. Excellent. My favorite turkish hotel. Breakfast was amazing and sea look is so nice. If you wanna comfortably, fresh and silent place you are looking true place.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
