This is a very centrally located hotel in the Sultanahmet area and at a walkable distance to all the major attractions like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc. Its also close to the tram station. The staff were great and very friendly especially one Mr John (Turkish name Mr Ashran). I had quite a bit of luggage and he helped me... More

I'm a solo traveler. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights (8-9 Dec 2014). The location of this hotel is very strategic. Nearby to all the tourist attraction, just 3 mins walk to the nearest tram station Çemberlitas, 5 mins walk to grand bazaar market, 10 mins walk to the famous blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. The hotel staff... More

My home STA is a little hotel 15 min by foot from all historical places of Istanbul: Sultanahmet, Aya Sophia etc. Prices 60-80 Euro per night per dbl room is not too much and the hotel is not noisy and normal comfort for the hotel with no stars. Rooms are clean and furniture are ok and not old. Breakfast not... More

Staid in this hotel twice, last time in October 2013. Look, this is not the Ritz. It's a basic hotel offering basic amenities. But what makes this hotel just that bit better than others, is A) it's clean (and believe me I have slept in enough hotels in Istanbul to know that this is not necessarily the standard); B) the... I enjoy my visit here. The staff is great, the service is great. They arrange transfer from the airport. The staff is so helpful and service minded, always happy to help you and can even upgrade the room. If you want to have a great visit in Istanbul and wants to be close to the tourist attractions this is the... More

Terrible experience. You can not believe all these happened to me just at one time staying there. I could not change my hotel, because all the hotels around were full. I made my reservation one month in advance. When I got there, they told me there was no info of me in their system, but I had the name of... More

Badly in need of repair and poorly managed; unsavory crowd for dinner and drinking on one occasion; stale toiletries; weak AC in some rooms (intolerable during a heat wave - 6/9-6/14 2012); bed bug on one occasion; rotten egg for my first breakfast; would have left for another hotel but was stuck due to having booked through Expedia! A few... More
