A few clouds made me seek somewhere pleasant for lunch my first day in Istanbul. Kismet! Fresh blue and white decor on roof top terrace and a very large glass of organic local wine, created the perfect ambiance for my meal. Calamari, two huge prawns cooked with tomato, garlic, capsicum, and a perfectly crispy juicy whole fish. Simple ingredients prepared... More

Literally a 15 minute walk from all the great architectural monuments (Haya Sofia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome etc), five minutes from the tram to the European side, and two blocks from the 1475-built hamam, this moderately priced hotel has good-sized rooms, free wi-fi, is clean and has a friendly staff. Moreover, their free sumptuous breakfasts (sometimes buffet, sometimes table d'hote), consumed... More

Near to Grand Bazaar and tram station. Noisy: early morning noise from street. Small room, one day no water, another no hot water. Simple breakfast, every day the same. Cleanliness ok. Helpful staff or even excessively.

- The bed almost filled the whole room, no closet, windows were held in place with tape, wifi was not available for 2 days (while solving the problem only took a reboot), staff wasn't very helpful towards our demands stating they are busy with the restaurant downstairs, breakfast was quite bland, same everyday. + very good location, near the tram... The hotel provides basic accommodation. The double room we stayed in was tiny, the bathroom also. The bath tub had no curtains, nor glass door, so the water would spill everywhere. The sink was very small also. Room had no space to put luggage. There is a small dressing that could not accommodate 2 persons' clothes, nor the bags. No... More

The best of this hotel is the situation (near the Mosquees and Grand Bazaar) and a decent price. The room was really small (nearly can't open your luggage), really small bathroom with a little shower that flood all the bathroom (without courtain or screen) and pretty scarce breakfast (but enough). In the other side, you get a centric downtown hotel,... More

This hotel is situated in the historical part of the city, so it's near by the Blue mosque and Haghia Sophia. Food was very good and varied. Our room was nice, light, cleaned and comfortable. Staff was very nice, talkative and the hotel manager has taken us around the Top kapi. We really enjoyed it.
