We had originally booked into a different hotel but on arrival it was not to our liking so after one night we checked out and my husband found Hotellino in a Google search. We were thrilled. A beautiful little boutique Hotel not far from all the major sightseeing spots in Istanbul. Rooms are small (but to be expected in a... More

We get upgraded to the bigger room since we request to have a king size bed. Cozy, place and having a easy access to the main city. Near, in metro station, restaurants, shops. Helpful staff specially the manager of the hotel who greeted us every morning before we took our breakfast. And his the one who help us out where... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotellino, from the moment that we got off the plane and met our transport to the hotel (very handy amongst all the confusion) to the reception from staff, the clean room, wonderful breakfast and service. The breakfast was even opened up early for us on the morning of our departure. We found the hotel to... More

Nice staff, good breakfast, but the rooms are slightly small. I recommend! Just not the best. Everything you will need is close! If you don't want to go to a very expensive hotel this is the #1 option. In general this place is excellent. Little noisy outside when Ramada!

We traveled to Istanbul as a group of 3 and stayed at the Hotellino between the 8th-15th July 2015. After selecting the Hotelino based on tripadvisor reviews we were all thrilled that our stay lived up to our expectations. We utilised the Hotellino transfer service from Ataturk Airport upon our arrival (35 euro one way) which was an easy and... More

Kudos to the staff of this quaint, well-maintained hotel. Mine & her husband, along with a most excellent staff made our stay in Istanbul top rate. Exceptional attention is paid to the guests, and anything you need, feel free to ask. The staff goes above and beyond. Very close to most tourist sites, and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. We... Don't think the value here can be beat! Incredibly friendly day and helpful staff, superb location, great perks, great breakfast. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel is very close to 2 metro stations but within walking distance to all mayor turistic atractions. It is a small hotel within the city so no get views from the rooms (at least... More

Rooms are spacious and quiet. We got decent blankets and comfy pillows that we havent had anywhere else in Turkey! The breakfast is great and the staff are extremely helpful, especially the main woman who speaks english exceptionally well. Plentiful water is supplied for free in our room too

The service and standard of accommodation excellent. At all times the staff went out of their way to assist and pass on their knowledge. Thank you very much. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Stay at Hotellino for a week. Wonderful welcome after a interesting cab ride across town. Close to Gulhane Park and a short walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basillica Cistern just to name a few. A travel card was provided on arrival (you return it on leaving). They recommended a great Bosphorus cruise to the black sea... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
