Well-located, Hotellino is at the heart of Istanbul but away from the noise of this big city. Principles monuments are closed to the hotel, no need to take the bus, tram or taxi ( to avoid). The owners of the hotel and the staff are very kind and give you somes tips, informations and informations that only people living in... More

The place is quite close to the key attractions which can be covered on foot...even taking trams to taksim from sirkeci was very easy! The hotel is really neat and clean and the owners and staff are quite friendly and helpful... They gave us a tram card to use during out stay and even packed a small going away present...

Hotellino is in the best location for tourists because it is near from stations of tram and Marmaray, Eminonu pier and popular tourist attractions. In addition, Hotellino owner is very friendly! He asked me the day's plan every morning and gave me helpful information, recommended sightseeing places, transportation, restaurants, etc. I really enjyoed first Istanbul thanks to his advice.

Excellent location in the old city with walking distances from Sultanahmet Square, Grand Bazar, Spice Market, beauitiful mosques, and cafes and restaurants. Gulhane Tram Station is just around the corner. Still, it was quiet at the hotel and its neighborhood was safe. All the hotel staff members were friendly and professional.

Rooms are small but tidy. You'll get every basic facility you need. Staffs are helpful. The owner, Mine, will give you personal tips for everything you need during your Istanbul trip. This is a big plus. Hotel is in walkable distance for the several major attractions for most travellers.

My stay at Hotel Lino was memorable and positive ~ the staff went above and beyond to communicate with me in English and were very helpful with recommendations on local food and tours ~both leading up to my stay and whilst there, which made my time there well spent. The breakfasts were exceptional~ so much variety and deliciousness. They helped... More

I must confess that I am always more inclined to book 5 star hotels when I go abroad for any holiday. I was a bit apprehensive when I booked my stay at a boutique type hotel in a busy area. How wrong was I to have any doubt at all. My experience at this hotel will definitely stay with me... More

LOCATION: Didn't use shuttle service. Airport taxi driver wasn’t aware of where this hotel was; eventually found it so keep a map and the address handy. The hotel is in Sirkeci and approximately 5 minute walk from Gulhane tram station. You can follow the tram line to walk to all the major tourist attractions within 15 – 20 minutes. Plenty... More

We had originally booked into a different hotel but on arrival it was not to our liking so after one night we checked out and my husband found Hotellino in a Google search. We were thrilled. A beautiful little boutique Hotel not far from all the major sightseeing spots in Istanbul. Rooms are small (but to be expected in a... More

We get upgraded to the bigger room since we request to have a king size bed. Cozy, place and having a easy access to the main city. Near, in metro station, restaurants, shops. Helpful staff specially the manager of the hotel who greeted us every morning before we took our breakfast. And his the one who help us out where... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
