We stayed here on 2 separate occasions when in Istanbul…. We enjoy the 1st stay so much we decided to stay a 2nd time at the end of our trip. We stayed in a private double room which was clean and comfortable and the location is very central…. Very close to the Blue Mosque and all surrounding tourist sites. Outside... More

The staff gave amazing advice to better enjoy Istanbul. The location of the building allows to visit all the main museums at walking distance. The rooms are always clean and the lockers for personal belongings are truly useful

I was a woman traveling solo. I had read great reviews about this place so I took my chances and stayed for 8 days, and I was not disappointed. Helpful friendly staff, made me feel right at home. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly. Breakfast was just fine. It provided the guess with a variety of choices... More

I have stayed here four times in the past four months. I stay in the mixed dorm in the basement, which is spacious, lots of storage, comfy beds. Very close to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, a 10 minute walk from Sultanahmet tram stop. Delightful rooftop terrace with views over the Bosphorus to Asian side. Breakfast is delicious, I love... It was my first time visiting Istanbul, and I chose this hostel for the convenient location, fair price, and great reviews from other travellers. The description of the direction was a bit tricky but it wasn't that hard to find. It is right beside a travel agency. I stayed in the female dorm-room for 3 nights in mid-May, and I... More

Excellent location, great price with superb Turkish breakfasts on the terrace facing the Bosphorus strait. During the night you can have fun without going out. If you are tired or want to save some money join other guests on the rooftop to drink, play guitar or have a chat. I have met some interesting people over there including the staff... More

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the Agora in June. The perfect location to visit the museums, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia in historic old town. Next to the street where Four seasons Istanbul stands. Receptionist was very helpfull. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of good restaurants on the next street. There... More

Stayed here for 6 nights. Right near the Old City on a quiet street near a wide variety of restaurants. Very clean with hot showers, plus the best hostel breakfast! A gorgeous roof top terrace overlooks the sea and Blue Mosque. The staff is pleasant and helpful. Made my visit to Istanbul that much better.

We love this place. Stayed there on two occasions during our trip for three nights each time. It's a great location in Sultanhamet just minutes from both Blue Mosque and Aya Sofia. The terrace has great views of the Bosphorus and Sea of Mamara. The Agora has both private rooms and hostel-style dorm rooms. The private room we stayed in... More
