Set back from the main drag of Sultanahmet, a bit down the hill, Tulip House Hotel can be a bit hard to find as the street doesn't seem to be a typical hotel street. Nice rooms, marvellous seasides, unforgettable breakfast at the garden, near of the city center, and near of the oldest church. Service is real nice and involved with the customer, very friedly. The bad point the transfer to the airport. more

It's worth the slog up four flights of spiral stairs to room 501 for the spectacular view from the balcony over the sea of Marmara. Simply but tastefully furnished, the room came equipped with hairdryer, plenty of coathangers (unusual for Turkey), bathrobe and slippers.
